About Me

~Isle Of View~ is already the third release of the hard working Mad Doggin from Hamburg after just a bit more than one year past releasing their debut in may 2004. While listening to the first track of the album it gets clear as daylight: Mad Doggin wont take any Prisoners - this is Metal at its best, its in your face!Kill yourself the hook line of the first song describes the motto of the band perfectly: Never get stuck and always try to reinvent yourself and your life! With ~Isle of View~ Mad Doggin finally concentrate on what they do best and find their own way to combine elements of traditional and modern Metal, a mixture which in this form didnt exist in Germany before. The Sonic Seducer Magazine describing the Mad Doggin style as Hamburg Bay Area Thrash even invented a whole new Genre-description and gives the band the first time in their career the feeling of being understood. Singer Ben: with this record we tried to make clear what our roots are and where we came from and this is closer to Bands like Pantera or Sepultura than the whole plastic new metal thing. And thats exactly what the album is about: Metal not more but also not less! The Debut album F.O.A.D. and the Alone E.P. lead to far more than just a succès d estime: Next to touring Germany with the US Top 20 Act Soulfly and the Crossover Heroes Stuck Mojo , Mad Doggin also already toured Germany and Austria on their own headlining tour twice and always with an increasing demand. 2 Videos placed first on Germans VivaPlus Tv Rock Charts also mark the fact that Mad Doggin is one of Germanys upcoming Metal-heroes. MAD DOGGIN' toured with ILL NINO in january / february early this year through Germany and will be back on the road pretty soon, for sure! With ~Isle Of View~ and its containing Songs like the old school metal classic Lord of Darkness or the emotional Ballad Loss Mad Doggin really make clear that they are the hardest working metal band Germanys and the most upcoming one too.
