About Me

It all began as three friends and drinking buddies jamming on the weekends under the name Flat Black Fedora to kill time and have fun. The combination of a sparse landscape of like minded musicians and the loss of a member to relocation sparked a forced hiatus, and the remaining two members drifted their seperate ways. After a long period of life changing events, personal discoveries, and various creative projects, paths randomly crossed again and the seeds were planted. What resulted is a fusion of bay area groove, Alaskan folk, and technical guitar work strewn across a devastatingly impressive blend of aggressive tribal and jam rhythm percussion. With driving and insightful lyrics carried on a rollercoster of at times biting but often melodious vocal dynamic, this is definitely one sound that will stick with you. Don't be afraid to flow.
