You'll probably hear Josh before you ever see him. Having brought an infectious mix of hard, funky, dirty progressive house to fans around the world, DJ JOSH ABRAMS is always committed to bringing the newest and freshest sounds to the dancefloor. Josh is the resident and talent booker at PURE, an evening of fine progressive house served every Saturday night at Los Angelesâ€,, Club Sugar in Los Angeles. Over his more than three year residency, Josh has built atremendous following that has resulted in bookings both here and abroad.Josh's unwavering support for the local LA club scene was critical in setting the stage for other up-and-coming progressive DJs, who he has supported through the years via bookings at PURE, recognizing that the scene can only survive through work as a united community.Known for his impeccable track selection and seamless, creative mixing, Josh brings crowds to a truly chaotic state, bringing a party wherever he goes. Josh's fascination with electronic music started long before he began DJing. A few years later the captivating rhythms and pulsating beats would lead him into his first clubs and the love affair was on!From the first moment Josh knew that he had something special to offer and with that he began his quest to bring his experience to others. In 2002 he had many memorable moments, but a few stand out. He headlined at SuperQool, San Francisco's infamous progressive house happy hour presented by Spesh and Looq Records. Josh then brought his unique sound to Germany, where he was asked to headline with Oliver Moldan at H90, one of Germany's top clubs. As a result, requests began to pour in from venues around the world, with promoters curious about Josh's aggressive and unwavering progressive sounds.Since taking the helm at PURE, Josh has played alongside such DJs as Kasey Taylor, Gabriel and Dresden, Barry Gilbey, Troy Roberts, Trendroid, Innate, Luke Fair, Evolution and many others.Beginning very soon Josh will be starting a new residency at Cherry Nightclub in the Red Rock Casino (http://www.redrocklasvegas.com/entertainment/cherry_nightcl ub.php) located in Las Vegas. The night will focus on great music without the Strip attitude, something Josh has come to be known for. Also be on the lookout for new exclusive mixes as well as some surprises coming from the studio. And don't we all love surprises? What's next you ask?
