1/08/2007I can't believe I moved to Tennessee!~....It doesn't seem liked I actually moved here...it sort of feels like I'm on vacation....Maybe when I get a place it will become more real...Today was my first day at work and most of the day I spent in conferences with HR managers and three other employees in the Accounting Management Program like me....the rest of the day consisted of introductions to others department managers and their employees. After work I drove through Nashville city and it is beautiful....the drive to the city scared me though....everything seemed run down and there wasn't a green tree in sight...once I got to the city though, the sun was setting over the horizon beyond all the skyscraping buildings and it was beautiful...I'm sad to say that there isn't much outdoorsy things to do; something of which I'm going to miss very much about Bellingham...I did find a starbucks!!!! haha but it is about a 25 minute drive from where I am staying and working...Nashville isn't like Seattle in that there is a Starbucks every other block...Here there is a Walgreens on every other block...lame...I looked everywhere for a store that was anything like Fred Meyer and there isn't. Multi-department stores apparently don't exist in the South...:-(.....What am I going to do without my freddy's..hahaa...Well I miss all my friends already and I can't wait to come home to visit!!!! Everyone please keep in touch.....and I promise to keep you posted on my new life adventure...
Hey everyone...I'm leeaaaavin on a jet plane...don't know when I'll be home again (haha!) I'm off to Nashville Tennessee! For those of you who don't know yet, I've accepted a job offer at the Regional Accounting Headquarters for Kroger. I'll endure 16 weeks of management training in the various accounting departments throughout the center and upon completion of the training phases I'll be an Accounting Manager. This is a great opportunity to advance my career and I'm really excited about the chance to put my education to use. At the same time I'm really sad to leave Bellingham. I've met a lot of great people in this town and I will miss everyone tremendously. To all my friends and family...whether you know it or not, you've all had a part in making me the successful person I dream of being...Thank you!
About Me: I LOVE sports, dancing, and going on huge roller coasters..what a thrill! I'm very creative and artistic....One of my hobbies is earring making...girls let me tell ya some of my earring are hot! I'm very outdoorsy (watch out y'all), love to hike and jog...most of you wimps out there probably couldn't keep up with me....sucka.
