Hanging out with friends (laughter, shenanigans, adventures, trying new things) I also love traveling, outdoor concerts, all things 80's, beaches, road trips, texas hold 'em, game nights, extra dirty vodka martinis, a good steak w/ a bottle of wine, sporting events--from a baseball game to a boxing match--I'm down. Being from the Pacific NW, of course I love the outdoors; so I am down to hike, bike, snowboard, wakeboard, fish, climb, camp...etc. I love being on the water as much as possible!
Most importantly: people who are NOT "all talk and no action". People who are fun, intelligent, don't BS/are true to themselves...people who follow politics (and vote!)...people who want to contribute something significant and positive to the world...boxers and fighters in mixed martial arts (UFC being one of my now-not-so-secret guilty pleasures)...musicians...comedians...anyone artistic really...I'm on here mainly to reconnect and keep in touch with old friends, but I am definitely down to meet anyone who thinks they can entertain me or at least keep up with me...oh, and the hot Texan pictured below...
Mostly classic rock, 80's, punk and ska, hip hop (not rap). Different music for every mood, hence my huge mix CD collection. As long as it doesn't sound exactly like a bunch of other bands/artists, I'm down to listen to it. Check out my calendar...I try to go to as many live shows as I can. Mostly to support my local music scene. Check out my friends' bands Offset, and Death by Radio! The Doors - Roadhouse Blues

Who is your inner bombshell?
Va-Va-Voom! You're inner Bombshell is Mae West. You've definitly got a lot of wit, a lot of smarts, and you know how to use people to your advantage. Ever heard the phrase "doesn't take any crap from anybody"? Well that's you! Just like Mae you never want to settle down, and can't imagine being with just one man for the rest of your life. You don't care about conventions and have no filter from your brain to you mouth. Check out the movie "She Done Him Wrong" to see your inner bombshell in all her voluptuous glory!

I like to read true crime, biographies, political and historical non-fiction. I believe all women should read "He's Just Not That Into You." In some cases, re-reading it may be necessary. Perhaps someday there will be Cliffs Notes for the book, or "He's Just Not That Into You for Dummies." Not that the book is hard to understand, but obviously some of you still don't get it! I also consider Vogue a "book", mainly due to its size, but as far as mags go, nothing beats Cosmo (a.k.a. "The Bible"). Once I am done with school, I think reading books will seem more appealing!Word of the Day

My parents: for raising me well, but with enough freedom to make my own choices, and for not spoiling me too much (although I am definitely a Daddy's girl). All of you out there that are serving our country, here or overseas. My friends, I love all of you, and I am forever grateful for those of you who didn't bail on me when I needed you (you know who you are)! My sister: rest in peace; you helped me become the person I am today and I strive to become a better person because of you!
