About Me

I'm a west TN girl, a recent pharmacy grad, a music enthusiast, who recently relocated to the Northwest. I love newness, meeting new people, keeping in touch with old friends, and spending time with my family (which is huge with 4 parents). Other than that, I have a heart for foreign missions because I believe with all my heart that everybody needs Jesus. I know I do. I haven't found anything greater to be about in the short time that I've lived.
If you really want to know what's been going on in my life for the past couple of months,
Check out my blog! And feel free to leave a comment to let a homie know you were there...
The funniest thing I've seen in a while...

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Jim and Elisabeth Elliot, John and Betty Stam, Hudson Taylor, Deitrich Bonhoeffer, the apostle Paul, Peter, C. S. Lewis, my Compassion International child-Lena, Ruth, George Mueller, William Wilberforce, and it would be fun to hang out with Reba McEntire, John Krazinski, Zach Braff, or Orlando Bloom.

Music:

Jill Phillips, Andy Gullahorn, Phil Wickham, Brandon Heath, The Fray, The Weepies, Andy Davis, Sara Groves, Andrew Peterson, Citizen Cope, Derek Webb, Dave Barnes, Chris Rice, Third Day, Ginny Owens, anything with a beat, Nickel Creek, Frank Sinatra, Lauryn Hill, Coldplay-love those kids, Switchfoot, Rascal Flatts, Tyler James, Mindy Smith, JJ Heller, Bebo Norman, my boys SCRATCHTRACK , Aaliyah- made the best beats, and I tend to have a weakness for some ghetto music because I love to dance, so I like rap and R&B too. Pretty much everything but twangy country.

Movies:

The Last Samurai, The Prestige, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Shooter, Shawshank Redemption (on tv; the other's got some language), On the Waterfront, Coolhand Luke, Stomp the Yard, Gladiator, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, and of course Napoleon Dynamite- that was classic

Television:

Reba-hilarious, Golden Girls, The Office-thanks to Jessica Carfield, Law and Order: CI

Books:

the Bible's always a winner (Heb. 4:12, 2 Tim. 3:16, Isaiah 55:11), Cost of Discipleship- Deitrich Bonhoeffer, Knowledge of the Holy-A.W. Tozer, GraceWalk- Steve McVey, anything by John Piper, Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis is genius, In His Steps-Charles Sheldon
