About Me

I'm extremely loud (meaning...i have no inside voice), I like to take my fat english bulldog to the dog park, and at times i laugh for no apparent reason. I just moved to beautiful Newport Beach and I love it! My life has somewhat settled down and I am looking forward to getting into a normal routine. Going to the beach and riding my bike around town are two things I can't wait to do more of. Although I hope to spend more time at my new place then I did in San Clemente I still love T.O. and go home when I can. I currently work as an Environmental Planner, specifically doing transportation work for a Planning and Consulting firm in Redondo Beach. My job is pretty chill, the freedom and flexibility is amazing. Plus, I learn something new everyday. I am huge Laker fan as well as basketball in general. At times I must stop myself, because I feel that my knowledge could be a bit overwhelming to those who don't know me. I aspire to attend law school one day to pursue a career in Environmental Law. Unfortunately it was not in the cards for me this year, maybe next year. There are so many things I want to do and see in life but at times my career takes over plans. I try everyday to be a bit more spontaneous and live in the moment instead of planning everything. I hope to do more traveling as I get older, but have realized that the older you get the less time you have. Time I do it now! Other than that I love to spend time with my friends and my boyfriend as well as cook. I have a dream of going to culinary school and opening my own restaurant someday, but for right now I am happy cooking for friends and family.

My Interests

I've been a Laker fan since '93 when they were the worst team in the league. Even though they suck, I will never like the Sacramento Kings or jump on the Clippers bandwagon. Besides watching the Lakers, I like to go to the gym, eat and make good food, ride horses, hang out with all my friends and have a good time!

I am a old school fool of all sorts. I like old school rap and R&B, funk, 80s, and JT.

Movies:

Although I am always down for a mind churner or a scary flick, I am pretty much a stupid comedy and teen movie lover. Back in the day I memorized all of Ace Ventura and could probably do it if you ask. I have seen Can't Hardly Wait more times then I can remember and am a fan of Liar Liar, Dumb and Dumber (everyone's fav), Bringing down the House, How stella got her Groove Back, and A Civil Action. There are more I just can't really can't think of them.

Television:

I am embarrassed to admit that I am a reality show junky, especially watching Bravo shows like Top Chef, and Project Runway. When basketball season comes I watch pretty much any game thats one (lakers take priority of course). I also like The Office, America's Next Top Model, and my guilty pleasure: Flavor of Love.

Books:

All-time childhood favorite: James and the Giant Peach. I have read pretty much every Grisham book, the Partner being my number one. Lovely bones is also an excellent read.
