I am a saxophonist living and studying in Berlin again after having spent several months in Stockholm to study at Kungliga Musikhögskolan (KMH) as an exchange student. Mostly I play Jazz or “jazzrelated†music but I am open to all kinds of musical constellations and styles. The piece Dämmerung/Nacht to which you can listen here I composed on a dark autumn evening and recorded it together with pianist Andreas Schmidt. Am Anfang war das Wort is a song I composed for the band Flickstick. Därute över sjön hängde en egendomlig morgondimma I also played with Flickstick and it's written with a description of a calm morning atmosphere at a lake - which Per Olov Enquist tells in his book Nedstörtad Ängel - in my mind.
With the trio Bettina Löwenherz we recorded Für Dingo - I dedicate it to Nico Lohmann's song Dingo which was once lost but luckily came back to our world again...
