Influences: 1st and foremost Kriss Kross and ABC - I saw Kriss Kross debut on In Living Color and remember going into the living room trying to rap right after that and the rest is history in the making, after that me and my friends tried to starts a group like ABC, 2ndly and so important Lil O, Drama, and Miracle, when I was spittin in my dorm room for fun I heard these corny n'yahs and figured if they could get on BET rapping so could I (honest to God truth that's why I started rapping lol), Run DMC (flow - how to not sound monotone but to fluctate and move pitch and speed with the beat), Bone Thugs (flow - made me wanna learn to spit fast, I wouldn't be rapping if it wasn't for them), Jaz-O (learned to toungue twist by doin his "N**** What" verse over and over, I wouldn't have my flow if it wasn't for him), Keith Murray (one of my idols the best rapper to never blow up, Eminem put Redman over Jigga and Pac, I put Murray over Jigga and Pac), Daz (flow), Ice Cube (All time favorite & his flow), Kurupt (lyrics & freestyling - "You're not a real emcee if you can't freestyle"), Jurassic 5 (freestyling - crowd participation, getting 3rd parties to suggest words or give a topic so audience knows freestyle is 100% off the top and not some pre-written garbage), Brotha Lynch Hung (Flow, FLow, and FLOW......heavy influence on my current style I studied his flow on Gangsta like game tape), Dirty Birdy (made me wanna step my lyric game up), Crooked I (cuz he's just that damn good), Wu-Tang esp Ghostface, Rebel INS, Raekwon & RZA (other all time favorite, lyrics - "abstract rhyming"), Black Thought (lyrics), Nas (lyrics), Big L (Woulda been top 5 if he didn't get taken out...one of the best freestylers & the best storyteller in rap), Jay-Z (how to stay on top for years in spite of haters and naysayers, labels didn't want him so he made his own way in a big way.....and a top 2 freestyler, I think I like Monch just a little more off the top), Master P (model for independant labels even today...."major hustle" - market yourself to the consumers like a major label artist would - the strategy I'm using for Dirty Southwest), Chuck D & Rage Against the Machine (effectively making politcal music that folks wanna listen to), Eminem, Ludacris, Outkast, B-52's & George Clinton (attitude - that it's ok to do you on the mic and not give a f***), Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Pink Floyd, Jim Morrison, Bradley Nowell, Janis Joplin, Prince & Bob Marley (Exhaulted lyricists & musical geniuses - Quincy Jones is my idol), Timberland and Neptunes (being more than just a button pushing beatmaker and actually "producing" records, and more specifically drum patterns from both and sampling from Timb), Dr. Dre (layering drums and engineering songs/beats), Devante Swing (the man who taught Timberland and producer of my all-time favorite album), Eric Sermon (mix and matching samples to make 1 beat), my new beat idol Just Blaze (I AM FROM THE EAST COAST AND WILL SAMPLE TILL THE DAY I DIE SORRY BABY)....and last but not least Eddie Murphy (all time favorite comedian- the basis for most of my skits).BIGGEST INFLUENCES are........
Sounds Like: I try and be different as possible but depending on what speed I'm spittin at some folks say I sound like...
