I revel in my geekdom. The only time I'm not working, sleeping, eating, coiling, coding, or spending time with my daughter, I'm off dancing somewhere.
I've been deeply obsessed with complex geometry for a couple years now... I wrote a complex math library and a multi-platform rendering engine in C++ and proceeded to craft a Fractal Playground where I can freely explore the infinite number of mathematical landscapes out there. I created a website to host the results of my recursive excursions - Check out www.BadAppleVisuals.com for graphs of equations that would confound your math teacher.
Well, after a number of years, the novelty of 2D fractal geometry has been slowly wearing off. Those around me were relieved... unfortunately for them I just finished putting together a completely new application. Using parts from Fractal Playground, and parts from my 3D engine, life sprang into my strage attractor visualization suite. Late summer 2006 ushers in the reign of 3-space basins of attraction.
