OIL! Hello. My name's Omar. I live in the OC tho I'm originally from far, far away. God blessed me with apreciation, and passion for art. I'm mostly self taught. I love to read artbooks; comic and finearts. I'm an amalgam of styles and techniques learned from my favorite creators. Though I owe my knowledge of anatomy to my favorite class and instructor (Life drawing), I take most of my style from my personal library of fine art and narrative art(comics). I've been working at a major mall here in Orange County designing and painting Henna during Summer and on weekends. I've been at it for a very long time now. I love my job, and the freedom of workin by myself, the joy of getting paid for doing what I love, and the opportunity to meet so many cool people while working. Creativly, its been a blessing. As a human, I'm an ARTIST; a hopeless romantic, I still can't understand why nice guys finish last. I pull no punches, and for better or for worse, I am always honest. Brutally honest. Besides art, I occupy my alonetime by working out or reading a good book, or attempting in vain to entertain the ol' battle axe. Check out the "View more Pictures" section. All illustrations and Photos are handmade or taken by yours truly. Unless stated otherwise. I usually only post Portraits of my friends, public domain characters or already established characters. My artwork, is original in the sense that I never EVER trace or directly copy anyone elses artwork(with the exception of collaborations). I draw, redraw, and redesign all these popular characters as a.. homage or tribute to all of their incredibly talented creators; I would never presume to take credit for what someone else did... Someone very wise once said to me... "credit was meant to be given, not taken"
