Books (mainly sci fi, the occasional classic and very rarely a mystery or romance if I only have a book of my mum's on hand) 4-H (hennipen hoofbeats, hennepin livestock, perhaps hennepin heelers soon, and ambies) community service. self betterment horses cat dogs medicine law debate music elephants posters arts family friends school good grades orchestra piano beginning harp lessons (in my dreams) politics morals abstinence ethics religions ....of course many other things that are of course interesting
People who I can really respect. Someone (not neccesarily for the purpose of being a boyfrined) who is truly kind. not for themselves but solely because they want what's good for other people. I'd like to meet a lot of people from different places, with different personalities. and different styles. People who are origanal and who don't base themselves on what society is. People who actually have a unique sense of self. or really any sense of individual self at all but this is not to say that they should work to be unique because that makes them like everyone else who strives to be unique. I really want to meet all kinds of people. hopefully people who leave me with the feeling that human kind is pretty great.
*Country (dixie chicks, shania twain, shedaisy, Tim Mcgraw, Toby keith(yuck) trace atkins, brad paisley, rascal flats, nitty gritty dirt band, and of course many more should be added to every category individual songs "honky tonk b'donka donk", "billy's got his beer goggles on" *Pop (lots of good songs from individuals, I'm pretty fond of avril leveign, poser or not. asheley simpson isn't completely obnoxious and everything else. right now I'm very fond of the song "breathe") *classical (I love instrumental music which isn't the same as classical of course but it'll go in this category. any traditional irish is fantastic usually. I really like beethovan. mozart's not horrible. plus msic from Carmen and phantom of the opera.) *everything else (the black eyed peas, enya, motion city soundtrack, flogging molly, greenday, disco, oldies, the four seasons, sometimes Sinatra is pretty good.) I'm pretty picky about the music I listen to but I dont' base it on genre. anything that I dont' find incredibly offensive and that has a good tune. or a good message.
I am a movie fanatic. the best movie I last saw was serenity which was FANTASTIC. princess bride is a good classic. most romantic comedies. sci fi stuff that's not too corny. action movies with actually plausible acting. do documentaries count as movies? Basically any movie with good dialogue and an ok plot. anything with humor (actual humor though not bathroom humor, or sex humor, which has now beaten out puns as the lowest form). movies=good
that 70's show, malcom in the middle. I did love friends, scrubs, grey's anatomy. occasionally I'll watch reality shows but they're pretty annoying. the Amazing race is usually pretty good. I also like cartoons. I don't have cable so my scope of television is pretty limited. I wish I did have cablle solely to watch music videos and the Daily show. Kim Possible is pretty awesome.
Most anything by Terry Pratchett, my mum's an author so any of hers of course. um.... david eddings, JAMES HARRIOT, Robert parker I really loved pride and prejudice as well, not a big fan of steven king but he's ok. the bible is obviously very important. I really want to read Al Gore's books, but I haven't had the chance (meaning I haven't looked into it)
THAT FROG THAT JUMPED OVER THE BRICKS WHEN JENNA WAS THERE--tenacious little amphibian! ghandi, my mom, my pastor...well...ex-pastor, John (he retired), um... I really like FDR but I mean, I don't really have anyone I model myself after. my brothers are huge role models to me. like 2nd and 3rd dads really. I really think will steger is cool. John Edwards is awesome as well. His wife is very cool too!!
