Caribbean’s Hurricane BiographyA great group of musicians is what forms this unique and soulful sound that we call Caribbean’s Hurricane. Starting with our singer Alberto Tamayo from Cuba, conga player Walter Valencia from Colombia, bass player Marco Contreras from Guatemala, piano player Jason from Colombia and Santiago Santiuste from Cuba. Our blend of Caribbean and latin rhythms is what gives us a great blend of danceable music that is very pleasing to our public. We are based out of the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. All of our musicians have a very wide range of knowledge when it comes to playing the folkloric sound of the outer islands of Colombia, Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Cuba.
