About Me

"FPB" is an outgrowth from a band called "THROG" that was originally called "Frank Porter Band". So it’s come full circle in a sense. The experience of getting to this point has allowed Frank the opportunity get back to the music that started this and locate band members that are true to the cause. While gigging with THROG Frank came across many bands in many different towns across the northeast. One of the bands had a drummer named Stormy. Frank and Stormy kept in touch very casually and would talk shop now and then through email.Well sure enough about a year and half after meeting at a gig in Philadelphia for the first time Frank & Stormy are now part of the same band. FPB bassist Greg Guiteras was the original Frank Porter Band bassist. The new formation has been rehearsing and should be gigging within a month or two. There’s a recording in the near future too as well as the "30 Years of Rocking Tour" to put together so this band has some ambitious plans for the next couple of years and that’s just a start.Who knows where this will lead but it feels right and that’s enough. Rock and Roll Lives.
