CHANTELLE L EVENTS THURS 29TH MAY 'LET SICKLE

Well with myself coming from a background of telemarketing and telesales and enjoying it thoroughly I started my own telemarketing company called Set Your Mark last summer. Which has been a great success and since I am a great communicator with superb interpersonal skills I have been able to get my clients the results they want. My love of socialising and communicating with people prompted my desire to hold some sort of social gathering that would be a social and meaningful event. I have noticed that some young people have a lack of ambition and aspiration to achieve excellence and become an inspiration to the next generation of black youths; I feel that this can and will be changed starting with events like this upcoming event being an example of togetherness and encouragement to achieve your dreams. As a young black woman within the black community we are still trying to break boundaries and stereotypes that have been around for hundreds of years and are still in place. So it is important to have events of this sort. It will be great to see more black lawyers, more black doctors, more black successful business people, more black professionals in general. So I have been wanting to do an event that can bring young black people together (18-28) where they can meet with and mingle with some young black business owners to share there experiences, services and knowledge so we can create a black professional network to empower black people to break the boundaries and open more doors for future generations. I have been talking about doing this type of event for a while as I feel that it will be very beneficial for young black people.
