I'm not telling you what you should think, I'm telling you THAT you should think.

About Me

Genius for hire. I'm a writer. I also do a lot of other stuff, acting, theatre directing. And all of that is good, and I should be doing more of each and every one of those things. But the bottom line is the writing thing. I've known that since I first learned how to, or at least it seems that way now, and from this distance, it can't be far off. People interest me. They also annoy me. Big scary irrational apes who are capable of abstract thought and easily able to define their world for themselves, but don't because they get scared, or lazy or embarrassed to speak.
So am I any different? Maybe not. I like great films and great books, and can happily watch rubbish films (can't read rubbish books though) I love theatre, but these days I spend most of my time thinking 'how would I have done that better or different' so it takes a lot to impress me there. I like live music (more or less anything sounds good live, even stuff I wouldn't normally listen to in a million years) but don't go to nearly enough gigs.
I try to go to the gym every day, but usually it works out about two-three times a week and then I tend to head straight for the pool, do 10-12 lengths and sit off in the steam room feeling like I've actually accomplished something. Probably get more exercise just walking there...
I read comics. Most of them are rubbish. Most tv is rubbish too, but no-one has a problem with that. (I'm worried I might be getting too defensive about my interests)
I write and illustrate this:

#2 of which will be online soon.
Click the logo to go to the BIG CLEVER COMICS page. Add them to your friends, you'll never regret it.
More than that? I don't know, hang around and find out for yourself.
Felt the need to put that there since MySpace is advertising the rag in banners now...

My Interests

Film, theatre, comics, hanging out, going to the pool, drinking, talking rubbish (see opposite). Trying to take over the world (with the intention of giving it back, obviously) Really like cooking, but don't do that much. Getting into the whole photography thing in a big way but I need to spend more time taking pics.

I'd like to meet:

People. Dudes and dolls. Froods, Kopites, and anyone who doesn't want me to watch them on a sodding webcam.Anyone who fancies a free photoshoot, though, give me a shout, I'm trying to get a portfolio together. Doesn't matter if you aren't very attractive, I like a challenge.

Deal or No Deal... Industrial Strength Idiocy

I must have written about this show before. Deal or No Deal with the evergreen tv gnome that is Noel Edmonds. It is a stark illustration of most of what is wrong with humanity in this, the early twent...
