Gabrriel Mesh - singer/songwriter - soaked and nourished by five decades of musical history has, after numerous musical collaborations, re-emerged and returns to himself to breathe new life into a collection of original material from the past to the present day. His accomplished and often percussive guitar style is both distinctive and innovative combining elements of the folk and blues tradition but pushes the humble acoustic guitar across old boundaries into new realms of possibility. The resultant mix of music and song is heady and mesmerizing, primitive but soulful and is a satisfying affirmation of the human condition.
