Questo è un bellissimo momento per PRS.Stanno accadendo così tante cose che voglio cogliere questa opportunità per far conoscere a tutti voi il nostro evento “Experience 2008” in programmazione a Settembre, la nostra prima rivista custom PRS, i nostri nuovi modelli, tutto sui nostri nuovi video su YouTube, una panoramica del nostro nuovo complesso industriale da 30.500 metri quadrati, alcuni recenti articoli online, e tantissimo sui nostri artisti e i loro tours estivi.

Le chitarre con i “new birds” hanno in dotazione tutte le nostre più recenti innovazioni e molti dei nostri nuovi strumenti hanno ricevuto premi… il modello Mira ha vinto il Guitar World “Platinum Award”, i modelli DGT, SE Paul Allender, SE Soapbar II e SE Custom Semi-Hollow hanno tutti ricevuto il Guitar Player “Editors’ Pick Awards” e il modello SE Custom Semi-Hollow ha vinto il Guitar Player “2008 Readers’ Choice Award.” Stiamo consegnando le nostre prime SCJ e Mira Maple Tops e stiamo continuando a consegnare la famosissima e acclamata dalla critica DGT, le cui caratteristiche sono descritte nel Tone Quest Report di agosto.

Michael Ault ed io abbiamo realizzato moltissimi video su YouTube con le dimostrazioni dei nostri nuovi modelli e anche di alcuni vecchi modelli. Questi video sono stati registrati nel mio studio, e sono sicuro Vi intratterranno e Vi aiuteranno a capire le chitarre PRS.

Un bellissimo nuovo edificio è in costruzione mentre Vi scrivo. L’intera struttura, una volta ultimata, sarà grande più di 30.000 metri quadrati, e speriamo che la visita possa comprendere un tour del nuovo stabilimento durante la fase finale di costruzione. La costruzione di questa struttura all’avanguardia sarà l’occasione della vita per la nostra azienda, i nostri dipendenti, i nostri rivenditori, i nostri distributori e per i nostri clienti di espandersi su molti livelli. Sarà il luogo di nascita di nuovi sbalorditivi prodotti, costruiti orgogliosamente con gli stessi standard di perfezione dalla miglior industria di produzione di chitarre.
Postazioni di lavoro nel nuovo stabilimento consentiranno agli artigiani di costruire chitarre acustiche, amplificatori, strumenti prodotti nel Maryland a prezzi migliori co un incremento del Private Stock. Alcuni dei nuovi strumenti prototipo saranno già visibili durante la vostra visita. Molti di questi prototipi cominceranno il loro ciclo di produzione e vendita in gennaio 2009 al Winter NAMM. These are exciting times for PRS! We are launching some groundbreaking new products, expanding our factory, and enhancing our marketing in order to drive more customers to your store.
In fact, there is so much going on at PRS, I wanted to take this opportunity to let everyone know about our upcoming “Experience 2008” event in September, our first-ever custom PRS magazine, our new models, all of our new YouTube videos, a view of our new 100,000 square foot facility, some recent articles that are available online, and many of our artists and their summer tours.

Additionally, we are releasing our first custom magazine entitled Signature at the open house, and all open house participants will receive their own copy. The magazine will include an artist DVD, and a tremendous amount of information about our company and our products.
The “new bird” guitars are shipping with all of our new quality improvements and many of our new instruments have received awards…the Mira won the Guitar World “Platinum Award,” the DGT, the SE Paul Allender, the SE Soapbar II and the SE Custom Semi-Hollow all received Guitar Player “Editors’ Pick Awards” and the SE Custom Semi-Hollow won the Guitar Player “2008 Readers’ Choice Award.” We are shipping our first SCJ’s and Mira Maple tops and continue shipping the critically acclaimed DGTs, which is featured in the August issue of the Tone Quest Report.

Michael Ault and I filmed many YouTube videos to demonstrate our new models and several older ones. These videos were recorded in my studio, and I believe they are entertaining and will help you sell PRS guitars.

A beautiful new building is also being built as I write. The entire facility will be more than 100,000 square feet upon completion, and it is our hope that the open house will include tours of the new facility during the final stages of construction. Building this state-of-the-art facility is providing a once in a lifetime opportunity for our company, our employees, our dealers, our distributors and our customers to expand on many levels. It will be the birthplace of some astounding new product, proudly built to the same exacting standards by the industry’s finest guitar makers. Work stations in the new facility will allow craftsman to build acoustic guitars, amplifiers, Maryland-built instruments with new price points and a greatly increased Private Stock facility. Some of the new instrument prototypes in cue for production will be at the open house for you to see. Many of these prototypes will begin their production and sales life in January 2009 at Winter NAMM. They will also be the first products coming off the line in the new manufacturing space.
