About Me

It took forever to get through winter, but now it's time for rail jam'n, board grabbing, air catching, indie, fakie kind of fun!
A priest and a lawyer are stranded on a sinking boat in the midle of shark infested water. They can see land, and if one of them can swim to land they can be rescued. The priest refuses to go, so the lawyer says he will try to swim to shore. The lawyer hops in the water and swims to shore without a single bitemark on him. The priest, astounded, yells over to him "How did you do that?" The lawyer replies, "Professional courtesy."

Jimi Hendrix
You are Jimi Hendrix! You're influential to many young and old, and very talented. You most likely good with your hands... are you? You are very happy and like to experiment with drugs. Oh, he died in 1970 from a supposed drug overdose, it's unknown what drug.

My Interests

I am now officially an entertainment law student!!!!!! Hey, you know what they say, attorneys have better briefs :)

I am a vegetarian, a feminist and a bellydancer. I am a filmmaker, because I am really a story teller and I feel a compulsive desire to capture and relay those exciting tidbits of life that we only very rarely encounter in reality. I like to party and hang out and wakeboard...all at once!

Music:

B.E.P, Kanye West, 50 cent, Gretchen Wilson, Swollen Members, Gwen Stephanie (exept for Hollar Back Girl), Elton John, 311, Shakira, Lilly Alllem, The Fratellis, Dave Matthews, Eric Clapton, Christina Aguilera, Sublime, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Linkin Park and lots more. I used to say that I liked everything but country, but even that has grown on me--hmm, maybe it's from living in east county

Movies:

An Unfortunate Truth is a movie that everyone should see, especially those SUV owners and non-recyclers. All time favorites: Princess Bride, Resident Evil, Spinal Tap, Easy Riders, LOTR, Harry Potter series, Hard Boiled, A beautiful Mind, Anchorman, Real Women have Curves, Anything by Hitchock, Bresson or Michael Uno, The Labrynth, Million Dollar Baby.........My favorite Genre would have to be fantasy/science fiction because it is so far removed from reality- we deal with reality every day- why would we willingly subject ourselves to two more hours of it and call that entertainment?

Television:

What? TV? Who has time for television?

Books:

Well, I loved Tolkien's series and everything by Dan Brown--although I was severly disappointed with the casting of Tom Hanks in the Da Vinci code movie. The Shattered Mind- it's about case studies of people with neurological disorders and their freaky symptoms. Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell: awesome book, and not it is not at all like Harry Potter- except for the fact that they were both books about wizards written by british women.

Heroes:

My friend Lisa for being so strong--especially on a wakeboard, my sister Krystal for just being awesome and graduating with a film degree from USC, oh and Dallas Friday for being the best female wakeboarder

Ideas needed!

To all of my friends, I need your opinion.  I only have one week to pretty much decide the direction of my future.  I was accepted to AFI (American Film Institute) MFA producing program, but...
