I love: training and teaching yoga, training in boxing, kickboxing, muay thai, reading, writing, playing piano, singing, dancing, running, hiking, camping, wrestling, laughing, eating, drinking and meeting new people; admiring the stars, the sun, the clouds, the sky, the rain, the heat, the cold, the beach, and the pool; enjoying time spent with family, with friends, with loves, with food and drink, going everywhere, and experiencing everything with the people I love.
I only want to know nonsuperficial, nonjudgmental, down to earth, ambitious, kind, intelligent, openminded and openhearted people with a desire to discuss issues, continually learn perspective, and help the world in as many ways as possible.
I am a true lover of music! I love all of it... even country. =)
I enjoy all movies! I have this wild imagination that gets into every movie that I watch so there has never been a movie I didn't absolutely love! Unless it's too scary and graphic...yikes!
Right now, I have NO time for TV at all! But some favorites are Sex in the City and The Sapranos where the show easily consumes you...you think about it, you analyze it, and compare it to your own life and you talk about it. Those are great shows!!
I am currently reading the Tibetan Book of Living and Dying to further ease my soul. And I love controversial books that really make you think about everything you were taught. This is to remind myself day in and day out to keep an open mind because no matter how ridiculous something sounds to you, there is a mass population that believes, and they WILL have a great arguement for it. It reminds me that all things are relative and that is why we have no right to be judgmental. Reading exercises the mind... it's wonderful.
My heroes are truly my parents. They have started with nothing, literally! No parents to help them out in a country they do not understand and maybe never truly will. Their lives began with the clothes they had on there back and nothing to eat. They have made sure to feed and raise me with the power of their faith, love and perserverance. Now, my 16 year old brother, Stephen, and myself have everything we ever needed and wanted. Our parents are our true heroes.
