Jasmine was born in Irvington, NJ into a family of 4, with two other sisters a veteran as a father and a computer IT specialist for a mother.At age one Jasmine's parents decided to move to Atlanta, Georgia and raise there family totally different from how they were brought up in the city.By age 5 Jasmine was mimicing gymnist on tv, which prompted her parents to sign her up with one of the best gymnastic schools in GA "Paris School Of Performing Arts"Jasmine performed in local county events with her fellow gymnist and traveled as well to different cities to compete.By the time Jasmine was in 1'st grade she was recognized by a school officials for her overwhelming talent as an actress in there school plays,as well as the fact that she was extremely verbal, with excellent memorization skills, a professional behavior, and very very intellectual.Jasmine went on her first audition for BFC -THE BlACK FAMILY CHANNEL
Television created by President & CEO of Productions for The Black Family Channel, Mr. Robert Townsend. Mr Townsend was amazed by her acting skills and offered her a position in his tv show "Did I Say That" which was to be aired on cable channel.Jasmine career as an working actress began from that point.
Spotted in the mall by scouter's Jasmine was advised to try out for a local talent showcase sponsored by Atlanta Film And Fashion Board. Jasmine performed and sung a song by Donna Summers called "Last Dance" and shocked the crowd by her vocals and small statue body.
Jasmine was soon signed by Model Productions- Atlanta Film & Fashion Board.While signed with Model Productions Jasmine graced the runway for many department stores such as Macy,Spencers,Back to School Fashion Shows, Fall Fashion Shows,Rainbow Shop, Nordstrom, to name a few.
Jasmine soon became a Baby Phat model for Macy's modeling there latest clothing line for marketing.Jasmine soon received a call by Tyler Perry Studios advising that they were watching her career and hoping to work with her in the near future0000000.
Jasmine began to participate in pageants and won Miss Photogenic for Sunburst U.S.A. pageant,Sunburst U.S.A Miss Runnerup,and Miss Photgenic for the Young Miss Duck Derby pageant.After realizing that she was capable of winning the crowd over by her charm Jasmine took her career in another step which was her passion for dance.
She performed with R&B artist Ayanna w/ Elese Entertainment in her music video for her Hit Song "Ooh Wee".Jasmine enjoyed being apart of music videos so much that she ask her mom and dad would it be possible for her to join a dance studio. Jasmine soon joined the hottest school in the GA "CHYMES SCHOOL OF DANCE" where she was taking under the wings of the dancing phenomenon "BEEJAY" and gave her best performance with a group of all stars in 2007.In 2007 Jasmine performed live on stage with her instructor BeeJay with rapper DJ Unk at the Meet The Beat Bar-B-Q concert where Young Joc & Lloyd performed live.Jasmine was interviewed by CJ from 107.9 at the event and voice was heard live over the radio airways by many.
Jasmine soon afterwards performed live with Lil Mama at Clark Atlanta University and was featured for the commercial for tv. BET for the movie "HOW SHE MOVE".In 2008 Jasmine met and Angela & Vanessa Simmons and was interviewed by Brand Resouce Mgr Eddie Torres,met Senior Designer for the brand Brian Morton, General Mgr David Mann, and interviewed with radio HOT 107.9 & for their hot brand line "Pastry".
