Born into a musical family where my father has been playing in a band since the late 60's,I honed my craft at the early age of 14 when I got my first belt drives and mixer. I started clubbing at the same time as there was an abundance of teen clubs such as Jubilations,Discovery,Paladrome,Toto's on sunday,Nitro was a different name back then-I forgot-You get the picture.I've been dancing since then and wouldn't accept defeat on the battleground.My love for music enveloped me and I continue to find new and diverse ways not only to rock the floor with music but also how to rock the mic emceeing.Most of my gigs back then were house parties,banquet halls,Small clubs,etc. under my Alias as "Kangol Kydd".In 1996 I began djing with Takes 2 Productions and met Lyle del Mundo from Hype-R-Speed at the Lowrider Show.I was one of the founding members of the "Phlypnic"-Filipino version of Atlanta's "Freaknic" with my company called Pinoy Productions then later changed to Phyphonics Productions where I did mobile djing.Shortly after that I joined Lyle's street team in December of 97 in a company called Dynasty Entertainment and worked my way up as a DJ and Events Manager. Dynasty Entertainment was the highest regarded Pioneers of Asian Nightlife and Import scene in Chicago throwing the hottest events such as Battle of the Imports @ Route 66,Import Showoff @ Navy Pier,Numerous Talent showcases all over Chicagoland,etc. We were the pioneers of asian grassroots street promotions and marketing and since then has become an International Full service Marketing and promotions company called Dynasty Remix with past clients on the roster such as Dub Magazine,Seagrams,Manga Video,Zomba label group,Power 92,Kool,etc..to name a few,did the movie premiere's of such like Fast and Furious,The corruptor,etc... Lyle since then has been doing national promotions campaigns with Dynasty Remix and developed a national Nightlife brand called Remix offering VIP benefits all over the US and has become the National Brand Ambassador for Ciroc Vodka and works directly for Sean "Puffy" Combs under his marketing company called Blu Flame. I have honed my craft as a DJ under my alias DJ so'L sirCh, Grassroots street promoter & Graphic designer and work with companies such as CSG,Asian-elements.com,Endless Ent,Madpoison.com etc.. Many wonder where "so'L sirCh" comes from and it came from a period of my life where I seriously had to search my soul as I have gone through much turmoil in my life. "sirCh" comes from my name Chris garbled up as it represents how life can come at you with trials and obstacles to ,mix me up and allow me to confront any situation as long as I seek the truth in my soul-where all truth lies:within. "so'L" comes from soul-the very essence of life-the Spirit-the light and the giver of all things. Wisdom is something you have as long as you seek it,once you think you have it-then you've lost it.
