The Free Agency is a small artist-centric booking agency based in Ridgewood, NY, primarily focused on the planning of tours for independent bands across North America. We are fiercely dedicated to our artists and believe that a carefully planned, negotiated, and executed tour is a key element in the realization of their artistic vision. Our business is built on a foundation of honesty and professional integrity, and we communicate with our clients in a frequent, forthright, and professional manner. Being artists ourselves, caring for clients and friends is our Number One priority. In addition to tour booking, The Free Agency also provides Tour Management services on a limited basis.
Submission Policy
We listen to every demo we receive. However, the artists that we work with are artists that we truly love, and who have proven capable of extensive National and International touring. We expect that our artists share our enthusiasm for a professional career in music and are aware of the challenges of being a successful touring band. The Free Agency prefers to work with artists who have a clear vision of their artistic future, are dedicated to touring and promoting their releases, have some form of label support and promotion behind them, and, most importantly, love participating in music just as much as we do.
