They aspire to tell everybody about somebody who can change the life of anybody. It's a statement they believe with all their hearts and they proclaim it to anyone who will listen.Through their music, a ministry has evolved. Reaching the masses everywhere, from the streets to the concert halls and churches, NUVIZION is "breaking out."How NUVIZION came together is a story almost as amazing as their vision! It all started when Minister Lloyd Barber met and mentored a young African American ten-year old lad, Ellis White. They took together as "peas-n-carrots" as Lloyd says, and soon Ellis went on the road in ministry with Lloyd. Proof that love knows no race or color, together they travel, ministering their message, playing and signing gospel music in crusades, concerts, ect. Bonding together as father and son, Lloyd "adopted" Ellis making it official, as their relationship grew even closer.Today, this "Ebony & Ivory" "NU-DUO" (as they laughingly refer to themselves) with their unique sound of music which they call "soul country," are ministering to the world!To elaborate, Ellis states "its Lionel Ritchie meets Kenny Rogers." A CD "song writing project" that started out as a form of relaxation to remedy "burn out" from touring, has formed a "life" of its own! Selling their first CD ( Nu Vizion Project Volume I ) at concerts and revivals where they were ministering they realized a "NU WORLD" was unfolding to them concerning their "calling" of ministry.With their unique "style and sound" of music, in beautiful harmony, Lloyd and Ellis are using their talents and gifts God gave them.While the success and attention NUVIZION is receiving has caught them off guard, they are now fulfilling the calling God has bestowed upon them.A "NU" generation will join the mix from time to time. Ellis' 13 year old daughter A.J. is singing with her father and grandfather. A new CD entitled "Generations" is soon to be released, showcasing not only songs penned by outside writers, but songs by Lloyd and Ellis, featuring their unique melodies and harmonies, a testament of how one can be blessed through one's personal relationship with God.A.J., when asked why she is singing "gospel" music, she replies, "I am singing for Jesus. He gave me the talent, so I am singing for Him!"That is the vision of NUVIZION, singing, not only about Him, but also for Him!
