Imagine a singer without musician. He likes to write songs, melodies and words. He used to play with other people during many many years. The bands he played with during the 90's and the beginning of the 21th century were called : MISS SACRIPANT, LES FILLES DU CALVAIRES, STRADA. He is from BORDEAUX, a french town famous for its wine but also for its R&R bands : NOIR DESIR, KID PHARAON, GAMINE...Because of his elder brother, he has listened to a lot of english or american 70's music : progressive rock like GENESIS, YES, King Crimson, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Pink Floyd. Sophisticated music but played by very good musicians. He learned a lot from it. Classical rock : THE WHO, THE DOORS, THE JAM, THE CLASH... This kind of music gave him energy.He likes to sing in english because it's a wonderfull language for pop music.One day, he decided to play and sing alone because it was the only way for him to do his own music. In 2004, he created LOKOMOTIV SOFIA. A few years ago, he began to create music with computers. Then, he began to mix electronic music with more classical pop music.Now he writes songs in french because if you want to say something it's better to say it with your mother tong.Imagine a singer with his guitar and electronic samples. He writes the lyrics and create the music. On stage, he is with two adorable dummies. He feels less alone. He would like them to sing because he does like female voices but they don't. Maybe one day, they will.
