I'm a Certified Public Accountant who specializes in tax return preparation and tax planning for individuals and business start-ups (still awake?) I love being an accountant. I have a knack for it. At the same time I am a filmmaker and a professional storyteller. I am currently editing two documentary films while working on preproduction on a third. As a professional storyteller, I perform with a colleague of mine. She and I tell stories of growing up with our respective ethnic identities in Chicago. We tell humorous, inspiring, and even serious stories.

My Interests

Movies, theater, music, literature.

I'd like to meet:

Artists and entreprenuers. I would especially like to network with blues guitarists, short-story writers, actors, storytellers, and anyone who needs a good accountant.

Music:

Blues, Jazz, R&B, Funk, Classic Rock, and more. Right now I'm working on covering some Sam Cooke songs.

Movies:

Here a just a few favorites: The Wild Bunch, Taxi Driver, Taste of Cherry, Double Indemnity, Some Like it Hot, Love and Death.

Television:

I watch movies more than television, but I did enjoy watching season one of "Lost" on DVD.

Books:

I'm currently reading "The Writer's Journey."

Heroes:

I appreciate everyone who works for peace. Everyone who works to create dialogue and understanding between people of different backgrounds.
