I love my home, my country, my family and my friends. I am proud to serve as a guardian of freedom. I pray for the days when soldiers aren't needed, but am ready for the days they are.

My Interests

Your Personality Is
Rational (NT)

You are both logical and creative. You are full of ideas.
You are so rational that you analyze everything. This drives people a little crazy!

Intelligence is important to you. You always like to be around smart people.
In fact, you're often a little short with people who don't impress you mentally.

You seem distant to some - but it's usually because you're deep in thought.
Those who understand you best are fellow Rationals.

In love, you tend to approach things with logic. You seek a compatible mate - who is also very intelligent.

At work, you tend to gravitate toward idea building careers - like programming, medicine, or academia.

With others, you are very honest and direct. People often can't take your criticism well.

As far as your looks go, you're coasting on what you were born with. You think fashion is silly.

On weekends, you spend most of your time thinking, experimenting with new ideas, or learning new things. The Three Question Personality Test

I'd like to meet:

I am fortunate enought to have some of the best friends in the world. My friends would die for me, would yours?

"Do not be too moral. You may cheat yourself out of much life. Aim above morality. Be not simply good; be good for something." Henry David Thoreau

Music:

I scrounged up a guitar when I got to Iraq and I am having fun jamming with it in my few off moments. I love all kinds of music. I love the sound of a good brass band. I played at jazz fest with the lsu jazz band a few years back. I marched in tigerband for a few seasons. That was the best band ever! I listen to any music that has passion and goes somewhere. Sounds are colors and they come together to create scenes and shades of emotion. I can't stand music that is monotone and devoid of colors. Rythym alone is not enough for me, music must sound of emotions and color life.

Movies:

Mr. Bush, please send Jack Bauer to Sal Al Din Province, Iraq. Chuck Norris too, if he's available.

Television:

T.V. sucks. It makes you stoopid. Don't watch it!

Books:

The most influential book in my life has to be Sun Tzu's, The Art of War. Ironically, it is about peace more than war, and life more than death. The work Mao Tse Tung. If I have to explain why, you wouldn't understand anyway. The Lord of the Rings sparked my imagination from a young age. For an abstract idea of the greater good, the heroes constantly face certain doom, yet personal courage and unbending loyalty to each other see them through their quest.Dan Brown is a fabulous storyteller. Dan Brown tells stories like a good stripper. You can't wait for him to peel back the next layer, but when he does, you realize you knew what was under there the whole time.Michael Crichton is a wonderful science teacher disguised as a novelist.I love Tom Clancy's understanding of the bigger picture, the inevitable flow of time, and the way all the little parts make it click.

Heroes:

Abraham Lincoln is a hero of mine. He was a great listener, and he understood the good qualities of those around him. His solid character made even those who disliked him rally behind him. He was a great leader in a very trying time because he brought out the potential in those around him and trusted them. They in turn trusted him and themselves. To lead is to serve, and he served well. I hope I display those virtues should I ever be called on.My step-dad, Carl. I hope I am half the dad he didn't have to be. My God I love you dad, and I am more greatful than you will ever know for what you did for me and still do for me, taught me and still teach me. And of course, General Patton.

Observations

1.  No matter how hungry you are before you go to bed, nasty biscuits and craklins are not a good idea before you go to bed.  They will wake you up to tell you so. 2.  Drama comes from ...
