Jesus Christ, who will be my First Love forever. (and I do mean that literally.)After Him are all other things: people, poetry, Africa, storms, laughing, culture, photography, singing, dancing, philosophy, languages, running, being outdoors, horses, climbing on things, good food, tea, daydreaming, accents, pretending I have an accent, pretending in general, the enigmatic color of goldenrod, road trips, escaping, deserts, desserts, and the Bermuda Triangle. I have a secret penchant for cats, also. And blue whales. And also the sunshine. And also Ben Harper's song about the sunshine. Actually, there isn't much I'm NOT interested in, except for televised sports and anime and okra, which is gross.
Also, I find good books irresistible, but who doesn't?
You scored as Divine Command. Your life is directed by Divine Command: Your god and religion give you meaning and direction.
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.

Anyone who's up for it. Most probably Dr. Suess. Or Roald Dahl. If either of those gentlemen were living, that is.
I like music that my friends make fun of me for liking. This includes, but is not limited to the genres of Christian reggae, stoner music, Hungarian folk music (Marta Sebastayen especially), African tribal and contemporary beats, and always always the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I am also enormously fond of Jack Johnson, Fernando Ortega, and Michelle Tumes.
Old nostalgic horse movies, like Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken and The Man From Snowy River; random foreign films from the library like Jean de Floret and Ushpazin; and good stuff like Sometimes in April, The Chronicles of Narnia, The English Patient, Hotel Rwanda, The Pianist, Luther, Out of Africa, A Night at the Roxbury, Chocolat- anything that is beautiful or has drama or dry humor. I wish I could love horror movies, but I can only bring myself to be in perpetual mortal fear of them.

"We have a tendency to look for wonder in our experience, and we mistake heroic actions for real heroes. It’s one thing to go through a crisis grandly, yet quite another to go through every day glorifying God when there is no witness, no limelight, and no one paying even the remotest attention to us." -Oswald Chambers
