I would rather have been shot straight-up in cold blood-but to be set up? By people who you trusted? That's bad. With all my fans I got a family again. All I'm trying to do is survive and make good out of the dirty, nasty, unbelievable lifestyle that they gave me.
PAC'S Ex- Wife, KEISHA MORRIS... Before we go into this story let us describe this young woman. Keisha is a 27 year-old woman who has a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice graduated from John Jay College and also has a Masters in Education.
She's a strong black woman who knows the meaning of standing on your own. She was born Keisha Morris and has a title and last name that makes her a part of rap history, Shakur. Not boasting of it, she says, "I'm not proud of the things he did, but it was my job to stand by and support him."
A Bronx native and proud of it, she enjoys sports, reading and talking to adults and children about their problems. She says you have to sometimes have been through or seen issues to explain them. We thought we would be interview a bandana wearing female who hates everyone but herself, cursing and smoking weed. Instead she was very well mannered. It took us some time to get her to relax.
Tupac was a dream that turned into a nightmare. One day he was there for her to love then he was gone. "We were just about to try again," says Keisha who doesn't smoke weed, cigarettes, or drink. She was just the opposite of Tupac, We met in June of 1994. We were both at a party that Puffy was throwing at a place called the Capitol. He came into the club, I saw him and spoke to him for a brief moment and walked away. I saw him a month later at the Tunnel another club in Manhattan. He came over to me and told me how he had been thinking about me ever since. I was very surprised. He remembered everything from when we first met. He even remembered the clothing I was wearing. Then he asked if he could take me out.
Initially, I was scared because I didn't know where he was coming from. I wanted to know "Why me?" out of everybody else. He said that he never had a woman treat him like I treated him, which was not impressed. I did not make a big deal out of him. He was attracted to that.Kidada Jones, daughter of Quincy Jones III, was engaged to Tupac in the event of his demise. In spite of several obscene and rascist remarks to her father, the relationship between the two, brought Tupac and Quincy Jones closer together. This would eventually even have lead to them working together on some projects. SALLI RICHARDSON, This actress was introduced to Pac by Vonda. They soon got into a serious relationship. Pac even bought her a $15,000 necklace. But as quick as it started, the story ended even quicker. Although Pac had said he wanted to "kick it with her for a while", he was the one who ended the romance Adina Howard, an R&B singer with a big, big bootie, came a-knockin' on the trailer one day. Leslie was on duty and he said to me, "You know who that is, right?" I said, "No. Who?"
"It's Adina Howard, she cut her hair."It was really short and blonde at the time and I didn't recognize her. She walked into the trailer and I followed her."Oh, Pac, I didn't know you had company," I lied, because of course I saw that bootie walking in.He introduced us and that was that, and I stepped out.He never mentioned her again so I don't know what kind of relationship they had. But if you look at Pac's history, I wouldn't be surprised if they got busy...Lisa Raye: Who would have ever guessed that being the sexy model in Tupac's LAST music video TOSS IT UP, would lead Lisa Raye to being one of the most admired women in Hollywood. Lisa says about being cast in TOSS IT UP: ICE CUBE was lookin for a female to play the role of DIAMOND in his upcomin movie PLAYA's CLUB. After going over several audition tapes and hip hop music video's he came across TUPAC's TOSS IT UP video, and took one look at me and said, THAT's her... THAT's DIAMOND. And PLAYA's CLUB was born.
Lisa Raye (full name LisaRaye McCoy-Misick) was born on September 23, 1966 in Chicago,Illinois. She is a talented actress and the First Lady of the Turks and Caicos Islands because of her marriage with The Honorable Michael Misick. GO LISA... workin with TUPAC has become very rewarding.
Madonna begged Tupac Shakur to have a child with her, it has been claimed.
The 'Hung Up' singer is said to have briefly dated the rapper a year before his death in 1996, and was desperate to start a family with him.Lucy O'Brien claims in her new book, "In her mid-30s Madonna desperately wanted children and had various relationships with unlikely men, in the hope she would conceive."But Madonna, now 49, was allegedly dumped by Tupac for not fitting in with his bad boy rapper image. The 'Music' singer's friend Alisonn claimed: "She was going out with him but homegirls were saying to him, 'I can't believe you're going out with a white girl,' so she got dumped. Can you imagine the product of Tupac and Madonna? WOW...In other Tupac news, Forbes.com has released their list of Top-Earning Dead Celebrities which features Pac at # 8 with $9 Million in earnings for 2007.ROSIE PEREZ, meet Pac on the set of In Livin Color, they dated for a while... Once known as Young Hollywood, Kadafi (real name: Yafeu A. Fula aka Yaki Kadafi), Yafeu Fula was born in New Jersey on October 9th 1977.In 1994, Young Hollywood ran into his childhood friend Mutah "Napoleon" Beale who he hadn't had contact with for years. Both of them were rapping and Young Hollywood's mother told Tupac about him. He felt he had to met him. They met and Napoleon joined the group. On April 5, 1995, Tupac's LP, Me Against The World, was released. They guest appeared on "Me Against The World" and "Outlaw".In 1995, Young Hollywood, Tupac, Bruce "Fatal" Washington, E.D.I., Kastro and Napoleon formed the group the Outlaw Immortalz, later changed to the Outlawz. Tupac gave each member of the group an alias from an enemy of America, he gave Young Hollywood the alias Kadafi after Lybian colonel Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi.On June 14, Tupac's "How Do U Want It" single was released. It featured "Hit 'Em Up" featuring Kadafi, E.D.I. and Fatal. It's the most notorious dis song in history and they're dissing Bad Boy Entertainment, Chino XL, Junior M.A.F.I.A. and Mobb Deep on it. Tupac claimed he had sex with Bad Boy Entertainment recording artist The Notorious B.I.G.'s wife, Faith Evans, for betraying him. The video which was made for the song is the Outlawz's first video. On November 5, Tupac's LP, The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, was released. Kadafi guest appeared on two songs, "Hail Mary" and "Just Like Daddy".Tupac planned to produce records for the group under his newly formed company, Euphanasia. Tupac hired Fula's mother Yaasmyn to manage the L.A.-based company. Fula, just 19 years old, was a passenger in the Lexus along with fellow group member EDI (Malcolm Greenridge) driven by (Frank Alexander) that was directly behind Suge's BMW when the shooting of Tupac occurred. Only Fula told police he might be able to pick out Tupac's shooter from a photo lineup. He was the only witness that night who exhibited a willingness to help the police. On the 10th November 1996 at 3.48am while in the hallway of a federal housing project in Irvington, New Jersey, where his girlfriend lived, Yafeu Fula was fatally shot in the face at point blank range, exactly two months after Tupac Shakur was murdered, efforts to save Fula were futile & he was pronounced dead at 1pm. Within two days of the murder,Orange police arrested & charged two teenagers. Yaasmyn Fula , one of Afeni Shakurs best friends, lost her only son in that shooting. Metro police lost their only willing witness to Tupac's murder. Who killed Kadafi remained unknown to the public until September, 2000 when Napoleon revealed in an interview with The Source that it was his cousin, Roddy, who killed him. Roddy claimed it was an accident. Apparently they were both drunk and high and was playing with a gun, Roddy accidentally pulled the trigger and a bullet hit Kadafi in the head.Snoop Dogg: What people don't know is that Tupac really kept me and my wife together. There came a point in time where I just felt like I didn't need to be in a relationship. It was becoming a headache to me, and all these girls wanted to be with me. I was like, "F--- that, I can have any bitch that I want." We was flying back from Belize with a gang of the homies from Death Row. [The homies] was like, "Yeah man, f--- that bitch! My baby momma ain't sh--." They was tellin' me about how their relationships were. Then Pac just was like, "Man, f--- that! That's your son's mother. You love her. She's the only one that's gonna love you." The sh-- he was sayin', it was real.It was sounding crazy comin' from him because he didn't have no relationship like that. For him to tell me that, the sh-- really stuck in my heart. When I got home [me and my son's mother] pieced it back together. We worked it out and eventually got married. I gave him a lot of credit for that because I didn't have no direction. I didn't have nobody to talk to and I was young and I didn't really know. His advice stood out more than the negative advice did.The most touching of the many tributes given to Pac was from Treach of the group Naughty by Nature. He took us back to when hip-hop still had a quality message and it was fun to dance to. He went from OPP to Hip Hop Hooray. For those of us who know what REAL hip-hop is, we enjoyed the memories.Treach then displayed a tattoo he has on his left arm of his beloved friend while he did the song “Mourn You Till I Join You,†his own personal tribute to the good times he and Pac had together. Their strong, ambitious, positive and determined attitudes made them the success stories they were. Both artists saw the bigger picture, and the future for them back in the ‘90s became a milestone in the game called hip- hop.SHOCK G was one of Tupac's closet friends, He was the one who helped Pac into the music industry. Shock G was quoted as sayin " If PAC phoned, you would drop whatever u were doin and fly to wherever he was, I always felt like tupac was special... Like Malcom X.The OUTLAWZ was founded by Pac while he was locked up, to take on the Eastcoast rappers... That were taking over hip hop, while he was in jail. They were very close to Pac... They stood up for him in everything he did, even after he died.
They have sold over 60 million records worldwide, They have

Her brain was cut off at a certain point, when I needed it. Her fighting times were when Tupac [Shakur] was being developed, between his birth and 13. All this stuff happened between Assata Shakur being broken out [of jail].My father [Mutulu Shakur] is in jail for breaking Assata Shakur out of prison. This happened when I was 5."I'm bipolar. I battle with depression and suicide on a daily."I've been hospitalized twice. After I left the hospital, I went through intensive therapy for three years, going to the therapist three times a week. I moved to Sausalito, California, where there was nothing but high class white people. They didn't even know who Tupac was. I really needed to separate myself from the black community and it was almost like I was in refuge there. I was able to build my spirit back.
I deal with a lot of shame. Just growing up the way that I grew up, hiding from the FBI, living in poverty, just being dark-skinned with short hair. You live with a lot of shame. You build up a wall that tells you that you're bad. So, that phrase, 'Your opinion of me is none of my business,' really has gotten me through a lot daily garbage."My mother said that Tupac was her soul mate."I've always been the shadow in the corner. I'm actually the heart in my family. My mother is the backbone. 'Pac is the catalyst. I'm the heart. I'm what keeps us together. My mom never taught me how to cook. She taught my brother how to cook, and I happened to be in the room when she did it. She never taught me about being a woman. She taught Jada [Pinkett]. She was telling Jada, when they were in high school, I just happen to be in the room listening to that.Mopreme, (born 1969 in New York as Maurice Harding) originally known as Wycked, is a West Coast rapper. He is the older step-brother of slain rapper Tupac Shakur and son of Mutulu Shakur. TUPAC MUSIC...Jasmine Guy? Whitley? Why would Whitley of "Different World" comedic TV fame be writing about Tupac’s famed mother--a former Black Panther? Curiosity moved this reviewer to pick it up and satisfaction moved the story throughout until the triumphant ending. It turns out, this biography/autobiography wasn’t watered down by "Whitley" at all. It was written by Jasmine Guy, the woman, the dancer, the actress, the writer and the contemporary of Tupac who hung with
him and Jada Pinkett Smith during his life, causing them to be there in a big way during both shootings and his death. Jasmine formed a bond with Pac’s "Dear Mama," Afeni Shakur, and over the next 10 years, culled Afeni’s story, building a sisterhood in the process. The only thing it doesn’t explain—or even touch upon adequately—was why when Tupac died on Sept. 13 was he cremated on Sept. 14? Internet photos affirm there was an autopsy, but this sudden disposal by Afeni has led to the "Tupac is not dead" mantra of some of our youth, The Tupac Machiavelli syndrome and Tupac Resurrection. (In a way, the Tupac Resurrection was real.In that movie, his life—and death—was told in his own words.)This book is a must read for all struggling with addictions. It speaks of the work Afeni did, the steps that need to be taken to free oneself from the drug of choice.Applaud Jasmine Guy for stepping out of her privileged personae to take on such a meaty subject and perhaps being the one unsuspecting soul who can bring Afeni’s life to our young countrymen who need to hear it. p.s she also opened her home to Tupac when he was shot the first time,
he left the hospital against doctor order and went to Jasmine's house, where he felt safe.Long before Tupac Shakur was even conceived, his mom, Alice Faye Williams, dropped out of high school and moved from North Carolina to New York City where she soon joined the Black Panther Party. As a member of that self-styled revolutionary group, she changed her name to Afeni Shakur, and became famous as one of the New York 21, a cadre of Panther leaders jailed by J. Edgar Hoover on fabricated charges of fomenting race war.Defending herself, Afeni, like the rest of her co-defendants, was ultimately acquitted of all 156 of the trump-up counts against her. And her son, Tupac, was born on June 16, 1971, just a month after she was released from the Women's House of Detention. She raised her son as a single mom, often penniless, homeless, and addicted to crack. Today, she's clean, eats organically, and serves as CEO of Amaru Records and as founder of the Tupac Shakur Foundation, an arts and cultural organization which offers disadvantaged kids a chance to pursue their dreams.
All rights to Tupac Music are now owned by amaru inc.
which is controlled by Afeni Shakur Davis, royalties are assigned to the tupac foundation which she has used the proceeds to build the tupac center.
Mutulu Shakur is a Doctor of Acupuncture. Dr. Shakur is also a deeply committed New Afrikan (Black) community political activist who has taken part for years in the struggles for the liberation and development of New Afrikan (Black) people in America.Shakur's political and social consciousness began to develop early in his life. His mother suffered not only from being Black and female, but she was also blind. It was Shakur's first confrontation with the state. The experience of helping his mother negotiate the social service system made him realize that the system does not operate in the interests of Black people and that Black people must control the institutions that affect their lives. It is not surprising then that one of the first struggles in which he became involved was Ocean Hill-Brownsville in Brooklyn, where Black parents were struggling to control their children's educational density. His participation was also based on his own experiences in the New York public school system. "I was involved because I had been miseducated, abused, and disrespected," said Shakur. "Ocean Hill-Brownsville was similar to the struggle in Soweto in 1976 in which the people struggled against the system of Bantu education."
In the late 1970s Dr. Shakur traveled with Dr. Mario Wexu, Direction of Education at the International Association of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture at Montreal, to the People's Republic of China, where he observed and studied acupuncture applied as the primary form of medical care. Dr. Shakur's work in acupuncture and drug detoxification was nationally and internationally known. Dr. Shakur and his colleague, Richard Delaney, by invitation attended and lectured on their work at many conferences.
Bro. Shakur was most importantly a cofounder and director of the National Task Force for COINTELPRO Litigation and Research which investigated, exposed, and instigated suits against the FBI and other American law agencies for criminal acts, domestic spying, dirty tricks, repression, and counterinsurgency warfare maneuvers against the New Afrikan Independence struggle and others struggling against oppression in the U.S.
He was charged and convicted, and was sentenced to 60 years, for allegedly perpetrating a conspiracy against the United States government, regarding the activities of the Black Liberation Army/New Afrikan Freedom Fighters; charges which consisted of expropriations of funds, which reportedly went to liberation movements throughout the United States, and throughout the world; regarding the liberation of Prisoners of War inside the U.S. prisons, such as Assata Shakur, and the perpetuation of an underground network.Assata: Exile since 1979
On May 2 1973, Black Panther activist Assata Shakur (fsn) JoAnne Chesimard, was pulled over by the New Jersey State Police, shot twice and then charged with murder of a police officer. Assata spent six and a half years in prison under brutal circumstances before escaping out of the maximum security wing of the Clinton Correctional Facility for Women in New Jersey in 1979 and moving to Cuba.Assata: In her own words,
My name is Assata ("she who struggles") Shakur ("the thankful one"), and I am a 20th century escaped slave. Because of government persecution, I was left with no other choice than to flee from the political repression, racism and violence that dominate the US government's policy towards people of color. I am an ex political prisoner, and I have been living in exile in Cuba since 1984. I have been a political activist most of my life, and although the U.S. government has done everything in its power to criminalize me, I am not a criminal, nor have I ever been one. In the 1960s, I participated in various struggles: the black liberation movement, the student rights movement, and the movement to end the war in Vietnam. I joined the Black Panther Party. By 1969 the Black Panther Party had become the number one organization targeted by the FBI's COINTELPRO program. because the Black Panther Party demanded the total liberation of black people, J. Edgar Hoover called it "greatest threat to the internal security of the country" and vowed to destroy it and its leaders and activists. This is an undated picture provided by the New Jersey State Police showing Assata Shakur - the former Joanne Chesimard - who was put on a U.S. government terrorist watch list on May 2, 2005. On the same day, New Jersey officials announced a $1 million reward for her capture. A member of the Black Liberation Army, Shakur, 57, was convicted in 1973 of killing New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster as he lay on the ground. She escaped from prison in 1979 and fled to CubaHere's an interview Tupac did about the rape case:Tupac:
Okay. Nigel and Trevor took me to Nell's. When we got there, I was immediately impressed, because it was different than any club I'd been in. It wasn't crowded, there was lots of space, there were beautiful women there. I was meeting Ronnie Lott from the New York Jets and Derrick Coleman from the Nets. They were coming up to me, like, "Pac, we're proud of you." I felt so tall that night, because they were people's heroes and they saying I was their hero. I felt above and beyond, like I was glowing.Somebody introduced me to this girl. And the only thing I noticed about her: She had a big chest. But she was not attractive; she looked dumpy, like. Money came to me and said, "This girl wants to do more than meet you." I already knew what that meant: She wanted to f*ck. I just left them and went to the dance floor by myself. They were playing some Jamaican music, and I'm just grooving. Then this girl came out and started dancing-and the shit that was weird, she didn't even come to me face-first, she came a**-first. So I'm dancing to this reggae music; you know how sensuous that is. She's touching my dick, she's touching my balls, she opened my zipper, she put her hands on me. There's a little dark part in Nell's, and I see people over there making out already, so she starts pushing me this way. I know what time it is.We go over in the corner. She's touching me. I lift up my shirt while I'm dancing, showing off my tattoos and everything. She starts kissing my stomach, kissing my chest, licking me and shit. She's going down, and I'm, like, Oh shit. She pulled my dick out; she started sucking my dick on the dance floor. That shit turned me on. I wasn't thinking, like, This is going to be a rape case. I'm thinking, like, This is going to be a good night. You know what I'm saying?Soon as she finished that-just enough to get me solid, rock-hard-we got off the dance floor. I told Nigel, "I've got to get out of here. I'm about to take her to the hotel. I'll see you all later." Nigel was, like, "No, no, no. I'm going to take you back." We drive to the hotel. We go upstairs and have sex, real quick. As soon as I came, that was it. I was tired, I was drunk, I knew I had to get up early in the morning, so I was, like, "What are you going to do? You can spend the night or you can leave." She left me her number, and everything was cool. Nigel was spending the night in my room all these nights. When he found out she sucked my dick on the floor and we had sex, he and Trevor were livid! Trevor is a big freak; he was going crazy. All he kept asking me was, "D-d-did you f*ck in the a**?" He was listening to every detail. I thought, This is just some guy shit,What happened on the night of the alleged rape?PAC:
We had a show to do in New Jersey at Club 88. This dude said, "I'll be there with a limo to pick you up at midnight." We went shopping, we got dressed up, we were all ready. Nigel was saying, "Why don't you give her a call?" So we were all sitting in the hotel, drinking. I'm waiting for the show, and Nigel's, like, "I called her. I mean, she called me, and she's on her way." But I wasn't thinking about her no second time. We were watching TV when the phone rings, and she's downstairs. Nigel gave Man-man, my manager, some money to pay for the cab, and I was, like, "Let that b*tch pay for her own cab." She came upstairs looking all nice, dressed all provocative and shit, like she was ready for a prom date.So we're all sitting there talking, and she's making me uncomfortable, because instead of sitting with Nigel and them, she's sitting on the arm of my chair. And Nigel and Trevor are looking at her like a chicken, like she's, like, food. It's a real uncomfortable situation. So I'm thinking, Okay, I'm going to take her to the room and get a massage. I'm thinking about being with her that night at Nell's. So we get in the room, I'm laying on my stomach, she's massaging my back. I turn around. She starts massaging my front. This lasted for about a half an hour. In between, we would stop and kiss each other. I'm thinking she's about to give me another blow job. But before she could do that, some ni**as came in, and I froze up more than she froze up. If she would have said anything, I would have said, "Hold on, let me finish." But I can't say nothing, because she's not saying nothing. How do I look saying, "Hold on"? That would be like I'm making her my girl.So they came and they started touching her a**. They going, "Oooh, she's got a nice a**." Nigel isn't touching her, but I can hear his voice leading it, like, "Put her panties down, put her pantyhose down." I just got up and walked out the roomWhen I went to the other suite, Man-man told me that Talibah, my publicist at the time, had been there for a while and was waiting in the bedroom of that suite. I went to see Talibah and we talked about what she had been doing during the day, then I went and laid down on the couch and went to sleep. When I woke up, Nigel was standing over me going, "Pac, Pac," and all the lights was on in both rooms. The whole mood had changed, you know what I'm saying? I felt like I was drugged. I didn't know how much time had passed. So when I woke up, it was, like, "You're going to the police, you're going to the police." Nigel walks out the room, comes back with the girl. Her clothes is on; ain't nothing tore. She just upset, crying hysterically. "Why you let them do this to me?" She's not making sense. "I came to see you. You let them do this to me." I'm, like, "I don't got time for this shit right here. You got to chill out with that shit. Stop yelling at me and looking at me all crazy." She said, "This not the last time you're going to hear from me," and slammed the door. And Nigel goes, "Don't worry about it, Pac, don't worry. I'll handle it. She just tripping." I asked him what happened, and he was, like, "Too many ni**as." You know, I ain't even tripping no more, you know? ni**as start going downstairs, but nobody was coming back upstairs. I'm sitting upstairs smoking weed, like, Where the f*ck is everybody at? Then I get a call saying, "The police is down here."And that's what landed you in jail. But you're saying that you never did anything?PAC:Never did nothing. Only thing I saw was all three of them in there and that ni**a talking about how fat her a** was. I got up, because the ni**a sounded sick. I don't know if she's with these ni**as, or if she's mad at me for not protecting her. But I know I feel ashamed-because I wanted to be accepted and because I didn't want no harm done to me-I didn't say nothing. I didn't stop nothing.....
"I cannot die with people thinking I'm a rapist or a criminal, I can't leave until this shit is straight, You know I'm not suicidal I'm not, I can't go! until you really know what time it is, and after that BOOM it's all over, and the reason being is because if I can't live free, and if I can't live with the same respect as the next man, I don't wanna be here"Tupac's two favorite meals were fried chicken wings with hot sauce and macaroni and cheese. ..

Trouble really began for Tupac after he was shot November 30th, 1994 at 12:20 a.m. It set the grounds for his beef with Biggie/Puffy and Badboy Records. He was shot 5 times in a recording studio in Times Square. There were many theories on this shooting. The media largely portrayed the shooting as a standard robbery, in which Tupac went for his gun, and was shot. According to Tupac however, the story runs a lot deeper.According to Tupac the trouble began on the set of Above the Rim, where he met a guy named Nigel. Nigel introduced him to Trevor. Both were alleged Black Mafia members and were rumored to fund BadBoy Records. They took Tupac out, and according to Tupac made him 'mature'. They wanted Tupac to join the BadBoy records label, however Tupac refused. This is rumored to be the a reason he was shot. Also, Tupac apparently dissed one of their friends, Jacques Agnant in an interview. This according to Tupac, may have been a reason why he was setup. It's possible, however, that the setup was planned before the point in which Tupac had even met Nigel. The song 'Against All Odds', in which Tupac states "Hoping my true motherf*ckers know, this be the truest sh*t I ever wrote" he makes several references to this setup. In reference to King Tut Tupac states, "Gun shots to Tut, now you stuck." Whether related or not, King Tut was murdered after the shooting occurred. Tupac's friend Stretch was later found murdered exactly 1 year to the day of this shooting. Tupac blamed Stretch for being involved in the setup. In ambitionz az a ridah he says, "Had b*tch a** ni**as on my team, so indeed they wet me up". In Against All Odds he says "and to that n*gga that was down for me, rest his head, switched sides guess his new friends wanted him dead." Tupac believed not only the shooting, but also the rape case was part of a setup. The setup in the shooting seemed to run hand in hand with the rape case Tupac was going through at the time of the shooting. The same cops who arrested Tupac in connection with the alleged rape, were the same cops who arrived on the scene when he was shot. Jacques Agnant aka Haitian Jack, who Tupac claimed was part of the situation in the alleged rape, got off extremely light while Tupac was sentenced to nearly 4 years in a maximum security prison. Tupac retaliated in "Against all Odds" on the Makaveli CD claiming that Jacques Agnant was a government informant. This is where the beef between Tupac and Badboy originally began. The media as they apparently distorted the facts in this shooting, also mistrued the facts in this beef as they played into an Eastcoast/Westcoast war. Tupac never directly blamed Biggie or Puffy in the shooting, but they were his friends, and they never warned him. After he went to prison they never visited him. As Tupac said they 'abandoned' him and 'tried to take his position'. While Tupac was in prison he said he thought about giving up rap all together. He said the reason he didn't was the fact that they were trying to 'dirty up his name and take away everything he'd worked so hard for.If I win and get the money, then the Oakland Police department is going to buy a boys' home, me a house, my family a house, and a Stop Police Brutality Center.I think I'm a natural-born leader.
