About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Him Heartagram (blue)

Oh my gosh, what to say here. Well, I was always that weird girl in school that hung out with everybody. And why was that? I think maybe it's because they wanted to try to figure me out. But of course I never let that happen. Can't have me all figured out. It just wouldn't be fun for me. I like to surprise people.

Let's see now....I've worked on movies and tv shows shot in the area and am currently pursuing doing voices for cartoons. I can play kids really well. I guess that's cause I'm still a kid at heart. I work full time in the glass industry but hopefully once the cartoon stuff kicks off, I'll be doing that full time instead.

Last year I joined up with the lower mainland's latest tourist attraction, the BC Renaissance Festival. I started off as a wandering character (the Crazy Lady) and stage entertainer, and now I'm the co-producer :) I still get to play my character and have my stage show of course. And now I'm teaching myself to play the hurdy gurdy so that I can add that unique skill to my resume as well :) For those of you that want to see it or take part, just visit out site http://www.bcrenfest.com !!

I've also been told to write a book about the dreams I have when I sleep. They are always very vivid and tell stories and sometimes can be quite entertaining. I myself find it weird that someone would want to read a book of my dreams, but it's piqued quite a lot of interest for me.

I've got quite the imagination and keep it inspired by watching fantasy/adventure/sci-fi movies and reading those kinds of books.

Here's one of my friends' bands, Damn Apes!

And here's one of my favourite bands, Apocalyptica!!!

And of course, my other job, the BC Renaissance Festival! Live the Revelry!!

And yet another of my favourite bands, The Rasmus!

One of my best friends has created a webcomic! Check it out :)

My Interests

I love antiques and stuff, old buildings, ghosts and exploring. Guess I'm a big fan of the unknown and discovering things. And of course, being a girl, I love animals. Can't live my life without having at least one pet to cuddle.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet.....well there's a long list there. There's a bunch of movie stars and directors that I haven't met yet. A lot of dead people I'd like to meet too. And of course my soul mates. Some of them I have found, my best friends, people that are almost as weird as me. I've rubbed off on them a bit. Hehe.

Music:

Music......gotta have the music. Thankfully at work, I can hook up my portable dvd player and listen to my cd's. So I pop in some cd's ranging from heavy metal like Blind Guardian, Apocalyptica and System of a Down, rock music such as Vast, Ra, The Rasmus, HIM, Queen and Supertramp, movie soundtracks, atmospheric to even.....yes, some folk cd's from Loreena McKennit. You just never know what kind of a mood I'd be in or what kinds of cd's I'd want to listen to. And quite frankly, neither do I until the moment comes. So I'm all over the map when it comes to music.

Movies:

Incredibly long list of movies can be put in here. Movies ranging from Goonies, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, all the way down to Amadeus and Elizabeth. I've got quite the extensive library and my friends and family like to use me as their video rental store. Hehe.

Television:

One word......Lost....That is my favourite show of the season. Course I'm also fans of Angel, Buffy, Xena, Supernatural, Jericho and Carnivale. Stargate's pretty good too. Kudos to the creators and the props department :)

Books:

Terry Brooks has been a fav of mine for a while. Also Stephen King. John Saul is pretty good as well and of course J.R.R. Tolkien. One of my dreams came true last year. I got to meet Peter S. Beagle, the author and script writer for the Last Unicorn! I can see a trend there, can't you?

Heroes:

R2-D2!!!!! Yes, I'm wierd as I have stated before and I have so much R2-D2 stuff that I could make a shrine. Even had a friend of mine go to ILM and he touched the R2 that they have in the theatre room there. Sure wish I could have fit in his suitcase and be there myself. Oh well. Indiana Jones is also a hero of mine. I just loved the trilogy while growing up and still do too. Can't wait for the forth that's coming out this summer!!
