Do what makes you happy, and I'll be happy for you. I'm one of the few people I know that can truly like a person w/o liking the things they do; and it's for exactly this reason that my friends are closer to me than most of my family. The best advice I've ever been given was "all we are in this world is the way we're rembered by the people we've left behind", and "don't say anything behind someone's back that you wouldn't say to their face". Instituting these thoughts with every interaction I have has earned me much respect. However, my key to happiness is friendship, and my key to maintaining friendships is absolute honesty and never loaning out more than I'm willing to give away (if they never pay me back they'll never ask again and we can still be friends). If I don't know - I'll ask, and if I'm not sure - I'm open to your input, and if I do know - I'm still open to your input, because all you are in this world is the way you're remembered by me.__________________________________________
