About Me

Want to send your support to a Soldier in harm's way, but have no idea of what to send, who to send it to, or how to send it? Help the true military troops that are really kicking ass in this war!!!!!!!!I just came back from the post office and was pleasantly surprised to send a 8 pound 9 ounce package to the troops overseas for about $9. I even ran out of shipping tape and the post office did it all. PLEASE SEND A CARE PACKAGE SOON-THESE TROOPS NEED US NOW MORE THEN EVER.http://www.anysoldier.com/My new friend on Myspace allowed me to copy this from him (thanks JR) and I think its so amazing-PEOPLE COME INTO YOUR LIFE FOR A REASONPeople come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a reason, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a Godsend and they are. They are there for a reason you need them to be.Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an incontinent time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.Some people come into your life for a season, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.!Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.Hi there:So happy that we are able to keep in touch more so now since Myspace. I hope to keep building my myspace friends with family, old & dear friends and of course new friends as well. Always wanting to hear from others for Autism Awareness/Support.

glitter-graphics.comAUTISM AWARENESSAutism is a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and affects a person’s ability to communicate and interact with others. Autism is defined by a certain set of behaviors and is a "spectrum disorder" that affects individuals differently and to varying degrees. There is no known single cause for autism, but increased awareness and funding can help families today. In February 2007, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued their ADDME autism prevalence report. The report, which looked at a sample of 8 year olds in 2000 and 2002, concluded that the prevalence of autism had risen to 1 in every 150 American children, and almost 1 in 94 boys. The issuance of this report caused a media uproar, but the news was not a surprise to ASA or to the 1.5 million Americans living with the effects of autism spectrum disorder. Nonetheless, the spotlight shown on autism as a result of the prevalence increase opens opportunities for the nation to consider how to serve these families facing a lifetime of supports for their children.Know the Signs: Early Identification Can Change Lives Autism is treatable. Children do not "outgrow" autism, but studies show that early diagnosis and intervention lead to significantly improved outcomes. Here are some signs to look for in the children in your life: Lack of or delay in spoken language Repetitive use of language and/or motor mannerisms (e.g., hand-flapping, twirling objects) Little or no eye contact Lack of interest in peer relationships Lack of spontaneous or make-believe play Persistent fixation on parts of objects Background Artist:

I'd like to meet:

Spring Lake 2007California 2000I met Jim in 1990 at my old job. We were friends and had a lot of fun at work. Years later we began our relationship and been together ever since. We will be celebrating our 10th anniversary this upcoming December. We share the love of American History, ghost hunting and sharing our crazy life with our 2 kids-Jimmy and Dylan. Our Wedding Song - "Unforgettable" - I finally found it on myspace and Big Jim and I attempted to sing it today-off key of course -but we tried.Again, Jim and I really share the love of America's history-from visiting Ellis Island, Alcatrez, Queen Mary, Williamsburg, Winchester mansion to local tours at Cape May to Cooperstown and more. While his real passion is researching facts about the wars (Especially the Civil War),I am more into the domestic side on how they led their daily activities and the social customs of those particular era. To add, we are definitely proactive in experiencing the unknown first hand -like when we sat on the rocks of Devils Den in Gettysburg at midnight in complete darkness on our own to see if something would happen. We love going on tours all over to gather more information to satisfy our curiousity of the paranormal. We also have an interest in historical architecture- our first house we owned was built in 1888 and was an authentic victorian built by the Perrine family in NJ. While living there- some very odd things happened. We feel energy of people who lived long ago gets trapped somehow in older houses and we find it fascinating of how this could actually happen--well as long as a ghost doesn't come jumping out of closet and attack us. At this time we are your average joe couple- we dont belong to any ghost hunting clubs nor do we claimed to be psychic, however, we do believe there is some type of energy that surrounds us all that can not be explained in normal terms. We both believe that our loved ones' spirits that have past on are around all of us guiding us to the right path in life. If anyone is aware of any cool tours, please tell us, we loved to tag along.

Music:

MyHotComments
Jim and I both love classical music and when we go down south we like to listen to some bluegrass stuff- its just goes with the scenic views. However, JIMBO(as everyone knows) is stuck in the good ole 70's with Creedence, Bruce and his good old southern rock. I enjoy it now too (not Bruce)- my music interest varies and too long to list. However, I do not like rap anymore-its changed, but, I love Tupac because he was different -now that was talent- I will always love Van Halen and of course the best frontman David Lee Roth.

Television:

I will be the 1st to admit, I love TV for the background sound. I love watching reruns of George Lopez, Home Improvement, Reba, That 70's show, Charmed when I am cooking, cleaning, folding clothes and working on my(Jim's work one actually) laptop. I watch the History channel and love it!!!! Jim and I are now into the new show Paranormal State and also watch Ghost Whisperer and Reaper. Of course, Jim loves his sports stuff--YANKEES AND THE JETS and his alltime favorite SEINFELD.
