I am 47 and house broke. I really enjoy my job as a truck driver. No other job gives me this kind of freedom. No boss standing over my shoulder telling me how it should be done (oh thats right I am the boss.....I own the truck).....I enjoy my downtime as well. Fishing, camping, 4 wheeling (Let's get some mud on the tire's), and motorcycle riding are some of my favorite outdoor activities.(4 wheelin to a secluded fishin hole with an awesome campsite. Now thats what I am talkin bout). For indoor fun LETS GO DANCING. I try hard to do a little 2 steppin.....sorry about the toes in advance. I listen to and enjoy all kinds of music. But New Country and Classic Rock are my favorites. ( George Strait and AC/DC what a combo ) Did you know you can 2 step to AC/DC come on let me show you. I love listening to the Smokin Armadillo's. They are a little rock mixed into a lot of country. I have 4 children (3 sons....all grown 1 of them married) and my daughter 13 (ahhh daddy's lil girl). None of them live with me. I am done having them now tho. I am ready for grandkids.....(common Kyle I am cheering for ya son). I am a cowboy in the sense that I love my freedom. I ride a steel horse you might say. Either in my semi or on my motorcycle. I admire guys who work hard and play hard. I think bikers and truckers are today's version of a cowboy. I also know that there are true cowboy's out there bringing in the cattle. Ropin' Ridin' and Brandin'. I admire them. I have done a little of this myself but chose to follow the asphalt trail instead. So dont come down on me too hard. I believe that "cowboy" is as much a state of mind as it is a life style.

My Interests

4 wheelin, fishin, campin, Any of the outdoor 'in' activities. OOOPS not all of them....No bungy jumpin, skydivin, hang glidin. Yikes.

Music:

New Country and Classic Rock. But will listen to most anything ( and I try to keep an open mind since my middle son Kyle is in a band ). My favorite's are George Strait, Garth Brooks, The Smokin Armadillo's, AC/DC, Ted Nugent, Billy Squier,Kid Rock, God Smack and Buck Cherry. Just to name a few.

Movies:

I love a good western. My favorite actor is Clint Eastwood. The Good The Bad And The Ugly is probably my favorite movie.But High Plains Drifter is close LOL. I also like comedy and action movies. But I will go to a so called tear jerker/ chick flick if it looks like a good movie.

Television:

I dont watch much T.V. I am not home enough to justify having cable LOL. But when I rent a room out on the road I watch the History, and Discovery channels.I especially Love American Chopper.....Those OCC guys crack me up

Books:

Westerns, action/adventure, historical novels ( I am facinated with the Civil War era

Heroes:

My Dad and My Uncle Max. They taught me what it meant to be a man. My grandmother. She showed what hard work and dedication will bring. All my trucking friends who give up so much so that we have the everyday things we need. Last but not least the U.S. Armed Forces. MAY GOD BE WITH YOU AND KEEP YOU SAFE. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SACRIFICE TO KEEP ALL OF US SAFE AND FREE!!!!!!
