It has been my experience that most relationships are fundamentally based upon whom the person you share them with is as an individual, combined with the degree of trust you share in one another. I see that individual as someone whom I respected, admired, and trusted with the same esteem that they held for me and our friendship regardless of gender. In my circumstances, though I have dated women, I have had many of my most intense and enduring relationships with men, close friends secure enough in themselves and me to share emotions at the most intimate of levels. I believe that one's sexuality is neither totally straight nor gay, but rather encompass a wide range of motivations and fulfillment’s that predominantly include one sex, the other, or both to various degrees. To be sure, physical attraction is a dominant force, however I feel that respect, admiration, intellect, and friendship should all serve to endure it. This forum seems an ideal place to either exercise my theories or by shared council through the experiences of new friends, develop new insights upon others and myself.
