About Me

I'm Joodas.
I started creating electronica alongside my Parkour efforts, initially aiming to complement the adrenaline and fluidity of the sport.
My curiosity with electronica has now grown beyond that, and has become seperate to my sporting efforts.
I've still only touched the surface though, and largely feel limited by my relative lack of knowledge of the tools that I'm using.

My Interests

Music:

Influences: My interest in music as a whole grew around Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metalica and Pantera. I've also listened to my fair share of Punk, concentrating on the upbeat Ska and Skate side of things.
These influences are not very noticible in my music as I've been tempted away from them by the strengths and weeknesses of the medium: Electronica.
Most of my influence comes from Happy Hardcore (Scooter, Flip and Fill, Dune), Drum and Bass (Aphrodite), HipHop (Obe Trice, D12, Eminem) and comercial trance (Dave Pearce on Radio 1).
Pretty much every song I've heard will have some subtle influence on the music I create. I try to listen to as much music as I can so trying to create a list of band names as influences would be impossible.
Sounds Like: At the minute it all sounds a bit amateuresque and midi-like.
My mastery of dynamic effects is growing and hopefully this will be apparent soon enough in my music.
I'll also soon be learning to use different software, which being more powerful, will hopefully add to the depth of the music I create as well.
