About Me

Hey friends!I moved to Dallas with Christopher, my partner of over four years. We have two boys, Cody, 13, and Chandler, 10, who come and visit us as frequently as possible. They live in Colorado Springs during the school year. We love taking them to Six Flags and playing the Wii. And I love being their step-dad!I'm a licensed social worker for a non-profit agency as a statewide staff and foster family trainer. It's an amazing profession and I definitely love what I do.I am also in school at UT-Arlington. I'm working on my masters in social work. I am entering my FINAL semester of grad school this fall! It is hard to believe after nearly 2 years I am almost finished.Christopher and I are members of the Cathedral of Hope, a church affiliated with the United Church of Christ...love it!I'm a busy guy but I love meeting new people and catching up with old friends so please say HEY!

My Interests

Music, running, working out, biking, playing cards, movies, and I have this crazy fascination with trains...I know...weird. I love sitting outside in the summer drinking wine with friends. It could be my favorite summertime activity.Take the quiz:

Normally I listen to Top 40: I love Kelly Clarkson. I'm also a big fan of dance/techno remixes and musicals. I'm also a singer and a pianist and am still trying to find my music niche in Dallas. Back in Omaha I was a performer in a few shows: Swing, Godspell, A Christmas Carol.

Movies:

Beaches, Steel Magnolias, Devil Wears Prada, Dreamgirls, and of course Sordid Lives (Do ya'll think i'm pretty?!!)

Television:

Survivor, American Idol, Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty

Books:

The DaVinci Code; Dispatches From the Edge, Anderson Cooper; Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs; A Child Called 'It'

Heroes:

I guess I can't think of any one or a few particular heroes that I have, but rather I have a huge list of people that I admire. People who stand up for others is so insanely admirable to me. I love it when people root for the underdog, primarily because it's never easy. You know that those are the people who don't take the easy way out. Those are the people who will fight for you. That's a hero to me.
