ABOUT TRACK MASONS:
*****Two man production team based out of PA. The TRACK MASONS are: DANA B., a native of Newport News VA, and JC, a native of Conaboncito PR. The two were introduced while spinning records for a college radio station in '02. During the summer of '03 DANA B. purchased a Boss DR-770 drum machine, but it wasn't until early in '04 that the two began collaborating on early efforts. The Korg Triton LE was introduced to The TRACK MASONS' arsenal at the beginning of '05.
*****Shortly after, The TRACK MASONS began planning a compilation album which would feature Northeastern PA artists over their instrumentals. "DANA B. PRESENTS...VOL 1 CONCEPTION" was released in the summer of '06 and featured appearances by CHINKY EYEZ, ISAIAH, B.A.Y.S. (aka Dub B), 023RD, SMALL TOWN HUSTLAS, XZIT ZERO, TYPE ILL, N.E.A., DUBZ, MAN UP PRODUCTIONS, BALISTIC, D.K.ING, and Philadelphia native KAR-LETHAL BRIGANTE. This album was recorded with PURE SOUND STUDIOS ****(FOR INFO ON HOW TO GET THE ALBUM SEE BELOW)****
*****After wrapping up their first LP, The MASONS contributed 3 instrumentals to GINO's debut LP, "THE PRELUDE." The songs that resulted were "911," "HIP-HOP," & "GOLDEN RULE." It was during this time that The TRACK MASONS were introduced to and began recording with engineer extraordinaire JOE LOFTUS. The MASONS recorded singles with additional NEPA artists including JADE and recorded enough material with B.A.Y.S. for an EP which is to be released under VOD RECORDINGS.
*****In December of '06 The MASONS began recording TRACK MASONS (I.E.), their 2nd full length LP. The album dropped in July of '07 and featured appearances by BEE EZ, ISAIAH, GINO, CHINKY EYEZ, MATASIETE, UNEAK, DOUBLE, B.A.Y.S., and The TRACK MASONS themselves DANA B., and JC (JOCOSE). ****(FOR INFO ON HOW TO GET THE ALBUM SEE BELOW)****
*****Late in '07, recordings began for solo albums from BEE EZ and ISAIAH, which will be produced by TRACK MASONS and released in '08. The MASONS have also began recording with R&B / Hip-Hop recording artist CHRIS FIELDS and will likely be collaborating on a project (s) in the near future.
