I never thought I would be a singer. I have spent most of my life learning how to play all sorts of instruments, invented a few on the way, all to indulge my attention deficit tendencies. Over the years I put together an albums worth of songs, so I decided to put a band together to record them and get them out of my head, play out once or twice, and put it to bed. An argument turned everything around and changed the way I listen to and write music.
Putting this band together started a chain reaction of new music, it is impossible to resist when you are working with such great musicians and people. Mike Fronk was the singer in my first band, and we have been in all sorts of bands together for the last 15 years, he is one of the most talented musicians I have ever worked with and when you get a moment check out the Thrill Villians, Mike's project band. Travis Crocker is absolutely the most intense musician I have ever worked with. I have never seen someone so dedicated to music, watch out for this guy, he is going to make an impact around here. Nathan Brewster is one of the greatest drummers I have ever worked with, finding a drummer of such talent and feel is next to impossible. He also lacks the lame sense of self importance that often accompanies musicians of his ability. Luc Schallen started off as a banjo student, but is now our awesome bass player, and he rocks. We are lucky to have such a talent on bored and can't wait to see how far he takes it. He has quickly become an important foundation to our sound.
We have cool gigs on the horizon and more tunes than we know what to do with, and shortly will have our first professional recording completed. Keep checking back for tunes and gig info, it just keeps getting better. -Mark
