WILLOW: You think I won't?

JONATHAN: We have one more award to give out. Is Buffy Summers here tonight? Did she, um... (We see the crowd part for Buffy.) This is actually a new category. First time ever. I guess there were a lot of write-in ballots, and, um, the prom committee asked me to read this. "We're not good friends. Most of us never found the time to get to know you, but that doesn't mean we haven't noticed you. We don't talk about it much, but it's no secret that Sunnydale High isn't really like other high schools. A lot of weird stuff happens here."
CROWD: Zombies! Hyena people! Snyder! (laughter)
JONATHAN: "But, whenever there was a problem or something creepy happened, you seemed to show up and stop it. Most of the people here have been saved by you, or helped by you at one time or another. We're proud to say that the Class of '99 has the lowest mortality rate of any graduating class in Sunnydale history." (applause from the crowd) "And we know at least part of that is because of you. So the senior class, offers its thanks, and gives you, uh, this." ( Jonathan produces a multicolored, glittering, miniature umbrella with a small metal plaque attached to the shaft.) It's from all of us, and it has written here, "Buffy Summers, Class Protector."
Buffy Anne Summer was born in 1981 to Joyce and Hank Summers. While living in LA and attending Hemry High School she discovered her destiny as the vampire slayer. This gets her into some trouble at school causing her and her mother to move to Sunnydale, California. There she meets her best friends Willow and Xander and her father-like figure and watcher Giles. Buffy was on for seven years and one more in comic form and no matter where she has been in her life she has not been alone. She always does the best she can and even though she is still human and she does make mistakes she keeps going, which can inspire anyone to accomplish what they can in life.
Willow Danielle Rosenburg was a sophomore at Sunnydale High when Buffy started and they instantly became good friends. When Willow found out Buffy's destiny she was eager to help and with her computer nerd ways she was very helpful. Willow was always the quiet and shy type, but branched out a little when she got her first boyfriend her Junior year,OZ. They dated for two years until freshman year in college when OZ left. Also her Junior year Willow started witchcraft, which she would excel in over the next years. After Oz left she met a friend,Tara, and they fell in love. They were soul mates through and through. So when Tara was Killed Willow lost herself on a destructive path, but eventually learned to deal with her pain and live in a world without Tara. Willow was also lifelong friends with Xander Lavelle Harris.
Alexander Lavelle Harris was also a Sophomore at Sunnydale High when he met Buffy Summers and started aiding her in her life as slayer. Xander immediately developed a crush on Buffy and even though he moved on in his life over the years he always felt this loving and need to protect Buffy. Xander was always sexy although never considered as sexy because of his dorky ways, but the fact he didnt know he was sexy made him sexier. His first girlfriend was Cordelia Chase. They broke up their senior year of high school. Later he started a peculiar relationship with Anya. And he loves Anya to this day although their romantic relationship ended. He did not attend college like the rest of his friends. Instead he got into construction and became very sucessful at it. Xander has been and will always be considered the heart of the group.
Rupert Giles is from England and the father of the whole group. He is Buffy watcher meaning he trains her and helps her with his knowledge of the demons she comes up against. Giles works for the watchers council and is the school librarian. On Buffy's 18th birthday he decides to go against the council to protect Buffy and is fired from the council. Then at the end of the year Sunnydale High is blown up and he also loses his job as librarian as well. After a couple of years he decides to leave so that Buffy can grow up and face the world without relying on him. He later returns though to help Buffy in the end fight of her life.
Dawn Summers is Buffy's little sister. She appears on the show in season 5 and to no ones surprise she turned out to be more than anyone thought. Dawn is the key which monks created for the slayer to protect from Glory. After Glory is defeated Dawn spends the next year or so trying to fit in in Buffy's world and with Buffy's friends. She goes through the hard left out and lonely feelings teenagers go through at that age. She eventually grows up and helps Buffy and gang. She turns out to be a very crucial member of the Scooby gang.
Anya Christina Emmanuella Jenkins first appeared when Xander cheated on Cordy and Cordy was wanting vengeance. Anya was a vengeance demon until her powers were taken from her and she became stuck as a senior at Sunnydale High. She immediately was drawn toward Xander and asked him to the Prom.After they graduated Anya came back to Sunnydale because she still had feelings for Xander and they started a relationship. Unfortunately Xander stood Anya up at the altar. Even though they never officially said they were back together they never stopped loving each other. Anya gave a lot of sarcastic and humorous commentary during her time on the show, but also contributed so much more to the Scoobies.
Spike is a very old vampire who has fun and loves the killing or he was until Sunnydale changed him. He first came to Sunnydale looking to kill the slayer. He had already killed two of them before.When hegot there though he plans did not go so well so finally he took Drusilla and got out. Drusilla finally left him which is when he decided to return to Sunnydale. While in Sunnydale he was captured by the initiative and a chip was put in his head making him not able to hurt anyone that was alive. Since he could still hurt demons he started helping Buffy fight and during the passing feelings of helping her he feel in love. Buffy took this as a joke. But he never stopped loving her. Their relationship became physical for a while and when Buffy called it quits he raped her. So he left town and got his soul when he came back he tried to make himself good enough for Buffy. In the end they loved each other and always will.
Tara Maclay attended UC Sunnydale when she met Willow in her wicca group. It turns out they were the only actual witches in the group.They developed a very special friendship and did lots of spells together. They relationship turned into love and although subtle about it at first they fell deeply in love. Tara was very shy and to herself, but Willow gave her the confidence she needed to be herself. They had their problems but stayed in love. Tara died by gunshot at the hands of Warren causing Willow to lose it. Although Tara is gone she will stay in everyones hearts.
Joyce Summers was Buffy's mom and a very caring, loving woman. She sacrificed a lot for Buffy. She didn't figure out Buffy was a vampire slayer until the end of Buffy's junior year and even though her daughter got into a lot of trouble Joyce always had her back. Joyce loved Buffy and Dawn very much. She was a great mother even though she didn't always understand being a slayer. Joyce died from a brain aneurysm way to early in life. She will always be remembered and loved.
When Buffy died for a few seconds at the hands of the master it brought forth a new slayer causing there to be two slayers. The other slayer was Kendra and she later was killed by Drusilla so then came Faith. Faith is an amazing fighter and even though she might have a little too much fun with it sometimes she can be a good slayer. After feeling lonely and shut out of Buffy and her friends group Faith decides to be on the mayors side. Faith is then put in a coma by Buffy and stays in a coma for 18 months. When she wakes up she is pissed beyond belief obviously and after messing with Buffy she runs to LA where she is arrested and she stays in jail until she is released and brought back to Sunnydale to help with the fight in the end.
Angel is a vampire with a soul, who is even older than Spike is. He appears first to Buffy warning her of dangers in Sunnydale. Buffy develops feelings for this cryptic, beautiful guy and then realizes he is a vampire. They soon develop a very romantic relationship until they have sex and Angel loses his soul and tries to end the world. In the end Buffy had to kill the man she loved so dearly. He later came back not ever fully understanding why. But realizing he was just holding Buffy back he left Sunnydale to move to LA after graduation.

Oz was a student at Sunnydale high school who started dating Willow their Junior year. Later on he found out he was a werewolf. This didn't affect their relationship that much until two years later in their freshman year of college he woke up next to Veruca, another werewolf and Willow walked in. He then left to go and try to figure out how to not be a werewolf. He figured out how to control his self. When he came back Willow had already fallen for Tara and Oz left again for good.
Cordelia Chase was the popular head cheerleader at Sunnydale High, but kept finding herself in situation involving Buffy and her friends. She started to become friends with them in a weird way. Then hormones took over and her and Xander started making out all the time. They started a relationship that last about a year until Xander and Willow kissed and were caught. After graduation Cordelia moved to LA and started to help Angel.
Riley Finn was a TA for Buffy's class. After they started to date Buffy found out that Riley was part of a government group that did experiments on demons, the initiative. This caused problems because the initiative was not all good. Later Riley left the initiative but after they dated for a year Buffy started to cut him off more and more. He decided to join the government again and left for the jungle.
