Murder Won

Hardcore for us has always been a loud, aggressive, and crucial way to express our discontent with this fucking world and also an attitude, lifestyle, and good reason to fight mind control, conformity, and acceptance for ignorance. The band first started jamming around 1998 and has always consisted of Kyle, Steve, and Nick. Many Bass players have came and gone over the years and the group has performed under different names as well. Such names include AGROSPAZ and WASTED ENERGY. In 2007, Paul French officially became the Bass player and the band name was changed into MURDER WON. Paul and Kyle had previously been in another hard core local group called INTENTIONS OF HATE (I.O.H.) from 1992 thru 1995. Paul French is also currently involved with FUCK SHIT PISS and MONSTER ZERO and is known in the local music scene for being the vocalist for many of Las Vegas' heaviest bands over the last 20 years including SUBSTANCE DEATH and PAPSMEAR. In 2008, the band recorded a 6 song CD with FACE FIRST RECORDS. For a copy of this CD, just contact the band and they will get it to you for free. 2009 brings a change to the groups line-up. Nick (vocals) has left the group so he can spend more time with his family. We wish him all the best and will be missed. With that said, the band has taken in Chuck French (Paul's younger brother) as the new vocalist/frontman of the group. The band is stronger than ever and will begin playing live shows again starting February 2009. Also plans of recording a CD of new material with Chuck on vocals is in the works and hope to have it finished and available this summer 2009.MURDER WON "Nothing's for Free" @PISS-FEST 08.16.08
