phenomenology confounds theory

About Me

Living in Austin since September 2005. Studying Chinese Medicine at Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin (AOMA). Spend much time reading, contemplating- building a working body of knowledge. Also enjoy time with Emily, friends, animals, watching thoughtful movies, musical performances, people watching, intrapersonal conversations, contrasting experiences of city and nature, coffee, Chinese tea, chocolate, Thai cuisine, camp fires, night time crisp air solitude, a certain satisfaction with problem solving and technicalities, balanced cynicism, a bit of sarcasm and satirical perspectives, prudent hedonism, the parasympathetic nervous system,...I'm on myspace to keep in touch with friends and for searching new art. (Below art by Frantisek Kupka)

My Interests

Grounding with sensibilities, flying with subtleties. Lens cleaning and critiquing. Always searching

I'd like to meet:

Whale dove into a solipsistic cave where narcissism rules at the head of vague spirituality connecting external things and events with internal dispositions etched in a boundless past that memory doesn’t reach. Words so often sink while they attempt to fly off waves towards stars, so while caving-away I found plenty of books written by hermit men of dark skin and worshipped at the feet of negation, transcendental-grandiose expectations, and stoic demeanors with eccentric nuances for social display- Austerity, dreadlocks, thick beard grown soft off the face. A procedure of denying that led into anemic blood, pallor complexion, cold tips, and tight places of dissociation. Believing that in time time would transcend and all would be fluidly light in that bright light tasted once, roaring up my spine.///.Slowly with time and sick of the black-outs that left gaps everywhere, I placed my feet on steps and quit flapping my arms into dizziness. Each step the marble was veined in Greek and European of the hard type, and my limbs warmed with lamb-chops and rib-eyes so I could wipe away self denial and strip at congestion with hungry finger tips. During the process, eyes opened at the glimmer of surface and land, sore from the rolled-back gaze demanding entrance to pineal gland.///.Now, amongst pluralism and relativity, I steady step with a sacrum plow - cultivating aesthetics amongst dynamic elements that are at play in a calm gaze and available for sure hands.///.Words of the soil: Light is made for revealing form, and pulsing blood abodes sexual encounters of The Subtle so long as senses breathe free of conditioned philistine.

Obviously read on the subject of TCM. Currently, aside from academic reading I'm working on James Joyce's 'A Portrait of the Artist as A Young Man'.

Heroes:

reasoning, creativity, and metaphysicians

Naturalist Rhetoric

Lets face it. Without our artificial-technological productions, the animal kingdom with its specific representatives gets higher than us. It's natural to them, whereas it's manipulations with us. Bend...
