About Me

Globally reknowned, Chave was created in 1981 by Hans Liebemann. Famed for his subtle twist on Eastern conventions and cheeky cockny grin, it was a combination that would spawn a whole new industry. When workers went on strike in 1989, however, it was the start of a slow decline which would last the entire nineties, leading to the untimely death from an overdose of Hans Liebermann. Revised in Barbados in 1995, originally as a novelty tourist attraction, Chave has carved out a niche as a comorting reminder of the mid eighties, with numerous internet fan-sites set up to discuss older days. With talk of a TV spin-off series, it may be only a matter of time before Chave re-enters the mainstream. Here's hoping!

I only seem to watch wrestling, Friends and Simpsons nowadays. I'm stuck in a mid nineties time-warp. South Park DVD's put pay to anything else. Also, the odd Pompey match, but the less said about that the better.

Books:

Currently In The Middle of Reading Saul Williams: She, The last of Stephen King's Dark Tower books and Bill Drummond: Bad Wisdom. One day I'll probably finish Naomi Klein's No Logo and the Sylvia Plath diaries, but I started reding them about five years ago. Next to read, George Orwell: Coming Up For Air. Cool book, haven't read it in ages.
