We are three more or less grown ups who by coincidence discovered we had the same musical taste. In Schrägbandet we mostly play music written by Markus der Schlagwerker, the rest is written by Joachim.
Qunos musical background started as a bassplayer when he was 11. Also he went on as a guitarplayer in a few youth-rockbands. But back to basics, the bass was picked up again. Has played guitar and bass in various theater projects including the musical Spök. He is also the solid foundation on which Mjölbys accordion society rests. Joachim has played in all kind of bands; blues, hardcore, punk, reggae, jazz, dansband, heavy metal. He also plays guitar with his big hero Stig Sjödal who performs with songs by Evert Taube and Ruben Nilsson.
About Markus der Schlagwerker not much is known. Rumors say he has his own myspace-page at myspace.com/markusderschlagwerker, but we really do not know.
Schrägbandet goes cover and performs Paul Gilberts song Jackhammer. Performed live in the rehearsal studio (as all songs on this page).
