Cloned in a Russian Research laboratory during the cold war, they were cryogenically frozen until a time that they might be allowed to roam free & breezy.
however unbenknownst to the research lab scientists, the technician in charge of maintaining their body temperature was a big funk & reggae fan... Alone in a room 10 floors below the ground in Siberia, he spent his days building his own Hi Fi system complete with the first sub woofer ever built on Russian Soil.
Ghirair was a huge reggae & funk fan. He exposed the Twins to months of the best in bass & drum, as well as a wide selection of Russian & Armenian folk music, as like many of his cleverest colleagues, he was actually an Armenian
Ghirair grew old. He continued building, alone in the cryo room. As he added to the system, the levels of Bass became more than the ice could handle, & on 1 fateful day, New years day on the Mayan Calendar, the Ice encasing the Mashup Twins shattered & they emerged into the world as babies with a 20 year education in Groove based Party Music
they immediately used this knowledge to sing concurrent & constructive frequencies, alternately rising & falling in melody, teleporting them to London England where their parents raised them to adulthood in Sunny Frosty Belsize Park
and the rest, as they say, is history!!
