About Me

My name is Rosny Laurent Daniel. I was born in Hollywood, California, grew up in Huntington Beach, California and I am currently living in Los Angeles, California. Of these three, Huntington Beach is the nicest location wise, but I love the people in Los Angeles. I have some other really good friends, Justine, David, Austin, Ale, Jarod, Julian, Cam, David, Annie, and so forth...most of them are in Huntington Beach, but a lot of them are up here in LA too. I am currently attending Occidental College. A private liberal arts school that cost $43,000 a year. Don't worry, I have a couple of scholarships, but this shit is still expensive. I am studying biochemistry. I plan to be either a doctor, research scientist, or politician someday. I am not a liberal, I am not a conservative, and although I am not by any means necessary, by definition I am a revolutionary, a black revolutionary at that. I love the potential in America, but I am a little bit upset about the current situation. I love music, rap music in particular. I do like some of the stuff that is on the radio, but only when I feel like going dumb. If I listen to music otherwise, it is positive rap from people like Gangstarr, Talib Kweli, Mos-Def, Rakim, Jay-Z, Nas, Biggie, Brand Nubian, The Roots, Kanye West, TI, Jamie Foxx, and most importantly KRS-One. I love these people, I love what they have to say and what they do for their communities. Music:

I like everytype of music, even country, and gwen stefani, thanks to Justine Carter. I dont like superficial music though, before you start listening to little john and thinking that he is the only rapper and that he sucks, listen to some nas, kanye, or KRS one, they all have a message in their music. I am pretty much trying to say, listen to everything and think about it, dont just disregard it as stupid rap, or some dumb song, just because you hear the instrumentals.
