About Me

I never really believed in ghosts until July of 1978 when I saw one. It was when I was doing archaeology at the old Spanish Mission at San Antonio de Padua, California. It looked like a real monk wearing a robe and hood. When I approached the thing it vanished away leaving me with a mystery. Was I crazy? From that day on I have been searching for answers trying to discover the nature of ghosts and haunted houses. I have, to date, investigated over 250 haunted sites from castles in England to humble homes in California. I have found ghosts in schools, theaters, sound stages, forts, missions, hotels, shops, and the mansions of movie stars. I still do not know what ghosts are but, I am convinced they exist. In my quest I have met some of the greats of ghost hunting and had the pleasure of working with a few. They include the great Hans Holzer, Dr. Barry Taft, Dr. Thelma Moss, D. Scott Rogo, Dr. Kenny Kingston, Chris Fleming, and Peter James.

My Interests

Ghost Hunting, Haunted Houses, History, The American Civil War, Ancient Egypt, Politics, The Second World War, Ghost towns, Legends, Lost Treasures, Ancient Curses, Haunted Castles, and early Christian beliefs.

I'd like to meet:

I am interested in meeting with anyone fascinated in the world of the Paranormal, ghost hunters, psychics, investigators and those who have stepped beiefly into the psychic world. I would love to meet Shirley Mclain, the actress. and Dan Acroyd because I have been told they share my love of the paranormal. I would love to debate The "Great" James Randi who debunks ghost hunters with great glee. I would like to meet Colin Wilson the investigator and writer who inspires much of my work. I would also like to meet Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who was an early psychic researcher and the creator of Sherlock Holmes. As he's dead, I will have to delay our meeting until I too cross over into that unknown land where we all must go.

Music:

I have few tastes in Music, Folksongs, Historic music of the Civil War, Classical with a bend towards Bach.

Movies:

Classic Films are my love. This includes silent works as well. Such Titles as: The Phantom of the Opera, the Cat and the Canary, Blood and Sand, The Sheik, Cops, and Wings. Classic Talkies: The Bank Dick, Any Marx Brother's film, War Movies like Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, Gung Ho, Lost Horizon, A little walk in the sun, and Steel Helmet. Science Fiction/Horror: The Uninvited, The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Thing, Ghost, The attack of the body snatchers, and Night of the living dead. (I always wantede to direct my own horror film--just for fun)

Television:

I am a lover of Star-Trek--We all need a few vices. I hope they come back with a new Tv show based on this. Other shows I like now? House, Dogfight, and Medium. Shows from the past: MASH, The Prisoner, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, and My Favorite Martian.

Books:

I love Clive Cusler Dirk Pitt novels, Spy fiction and yes, Harry Potter--Read them all (she needs to do an 8th book to tie up the lose ends--What happened to Luna Lovegood? I thought she would end up with Neville?)

Time slips

Question. has anyone experenced an event where they seem to have gone back in time? It might have been for only a few seconds. I believe time slips might account for many ghost sightings.
