Matt Piet

Pianist and composer Matt Piet is part of an ever-growing collective of young musicians coming out of Boston’s Berklee College of Music. Born in Chicago, he became a seasoned classical pianist and skilled accompanist in his youth. His tenure at Berklee has expanded his musical palette to include an active interest in jazz music and free improvisation. Piet is a recipient of a Jamey Aebersold Fellowship at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University where he will complete his graduate studies with renowned jazz pedagogue David Baker.
