About Me

Well, ummm...I'm me. I'm just a dude from southern Indiana who's a Christian. I'm a proud member of the Straight Edge Nation. Straight Edge means no alcohol, no drugs, no tobacco, and sometimes no promsicuity(depends on the person). Though, I won't judge ya if you do those things. I'm also proud to say I'm a writer/poet and nothing else no matter what my job may be. I've never felt that it's something I have to apologize for. As far as the real world and "real" jobs go....the jury's still out on where my fate lies. God leads me to where I need to be, it's just I have a hard time following the signs. It's kinda like a highway. The signs tell you where to go...it's just up to you to follow them. Ya just gotta keep your eyes open. Most people take a Bible and look at Jesus Christ as the ultimate symbol of the Status Quo. For me, though, Jesus Christ is the example of a true revolutionary. The ultimate outcast who can identify what it's like to be truly different. He's the one who taught me that it's okay to be different. It's okay to be a freak. Hopefully, you can understand what I'm saying. If you don't....take a look at my favorite Bible verses, Christ's own manifesto: Romans 12:2. John 16:33 John 15:18-19
"People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway. "---- Mother Teresa

My Interests

I love writing. It's my life, yo. Fiction, poems, that's my thing. Hopefully, someday, I'll get off my butt and finish that epic novel I'm always talking about. No matter where I'm working, unless it's getting payed to write, be it teacher, egg picker for Perdue, professional baby sitter for the Youth Village, Wal-Mart slave, prison teacher, or what...I'll always be a writer at heart. Also, I love music. I'm not a musician, though. I can read sight notes, but thats been a while since I was in high school band. I played alto sax. I just appreciate all types of music*try me*. My heart, though, lies with classic rock and heavy metal. I love, LOVE, professional wrestling. Favorite wrestlers include Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, Undertaker, Sting, Eddie Guerrero(R.I.P.), Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Dusty Rhodes. I've been to a handful of shows and let me tell you...the independent ones are more fun than WWE will ever be...though I won't stop going to WWE shows anytime soon. I'm a proud E-fedder. This means that I like to make up wrestling storylines and write them with other people. Ask me more about it and I'll elaborate. It could be a good conversation starter. Writing poetry and fiction. It's on my mind practically all the time. I'm a proud book worm. I'll read anything I can get my hands on. In fact, one of my darling juvenile students at Carlisle looked at me the first time I met him and said, "You're a book worm, aren't you?" I'm also a Guitar Hero fanatic. Even though I've made it only to medium, it still is fun. It's the perfect game for those of us who want to play guitar but are too lazy to try and learn how to play one.

I'd like to meet:

Anybody interesting, really. That's a pretty vague statement, but I'm open to everybody. My beautiful girlfriend Meg.She's no longer the top priority because I've already met her. I love her so much, though, and I am willing to see her a million times over.As far as celebrities go....Jesus Christ -- I have so much to ask him. So much I'd like to know from him. He could teach me not to be so nervous all the time.Bono of U2 - I'd absolutely sob like a thirteen-year-old at an 'N Sync concert if I met him. He's an amazing singer, an amazing musician, and writes some of the best, inspirational rock music ever. I always go away from a U2 song feeling better. Besides, he's a Christian and has an amazing heart which is displayed by his involvement with many organizations.Shakira -- She's an amazing artist, HAWT, and she just looks like she'd be fun to talk to. Besides, she's a U2 fan. I can dig that. Did I mention she's HAWT?Chris Jericho --Bar none my most favorite wrestler, besides Rob Van Dam.I've met him, but I'd like to do it again and actually speak when he speaks to me. He's also a strong Christian and I love watching him in the ring. He's an artist in the ring if I ever saw one. Also, he has a band called Fozzy. They're not the Rolling Stones or Nirvana, but I think they have some good stuff.Dusty Rhodes -- Big Dust is one of my all-time favorites. He isn't as athletic and doesn't have a ton of cool moves like RVD, but he's got a ton of charisma. His wrestling promos are the best ever. Dusty knows how to say it and he's prolly the only white man in the world that sounds like a black man when he talks.CM Punk - First, because he's a phenomenal wrestler. Second, thanks to him he made me feel that by not smoking, not using drugs, not drinking alcohol, and not having sex that I was unique and that I should be proud of who I am.Melina Perez and Trish Stratus - Well, I'll admit it. There's no big moral reason why I like them other than the fact that I'm a huge wrestling fan, I think they're talented, and EXTREMELY hot.Zhang Ziyi - Because I think she's an amazing actress, she seems like she's a very genuine person, and she's just amazingly beautiful.Undertaker - The Deadman and another one of my favorite wrestlers.Rey Mysterio, Jr. - Another one of my favorite wrestlers who is also a strong Christian. 619, baby!Sting - Yet another one of my all-time favorite wrestlers. I also admire him for his strong faith.Heroes:Mom and Dad because they put up with my moods quite nicely. Grandma and Grandpa Carroll because they teach me the value of hard work and the value of a sense of humor. Grandma Ryan because she teaches me that age is a mind thing. My beautiful girlfriend Meg who is postiviely one of the strongest people I've ever known. She's gone through a lot of stuff in her life and she's still going. Her upbeat, if not bouncy, personality always puts me in a good mood. Last and definitely not least, all my friends because they teach me different things in their own way.MOVE ALL HTML CODES (IMAGES/WIDGETS/SLIDESHOWS/VIDEOS) BELOW THIS CODE
