Hanging out with friends and doing stuff. I hate just sitting around and doing nothing, it's a waste of time. I love snowboarding, wakeboarding, surfing, and skating, it is a great pastime and hopefully I can do it forever. I listen to music a lot, and will catch a good flick every once in a while. I like tattoos, I'll get some pics of mine up sometime soon. Traveling is also something I love to do. I've been to a good number of places for only being 24 so I am happy with that, and hopefully I can continue to see more of the world. Some places I've been are: Italy, France, Switzerland, Canada, and Mexico for my international travels; and Seattle, San Fransisco, Santa Cruz, Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, L.A., Salt Lake City, Denver and all over the mountains in Colorado, The Grand Canyon, Santa Fe N.M., NYC, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Orlando, Miami Orlando and the Florida Keys, Nashville, Atlanta, and I'm sure some others, but that covers most of it I'm sure. You can never stop learning when you travel so I hope that I can continue to do so for the rest of my life.
Cool, friendly, uplifting, people. Whoever, it doesn't matter.
The Uglysuit, Built to Spill, Broken Social Scene, Band of Horses, Metric, The Concretes, Pinback, Blonde Redhead, Air, Manitoba(Caribou), Dr. Dog, Menomena, Boy Least Likely to, Sleater Kinney, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, My Morning Jacket, Mogwai, Pavement, Corban Eldra, Kunek, Radiohead, Grandaddy, Modest Mouse, Ugly Cassanova, The Shins, The Flaming Lips, The Notwist, Mars Volta, At the Drive In, Sparta. I know it's a pretty wide variety of music. But that is important, everyone should appreciate everything.
Wes Anderson films, they are great. The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, The Life Aquatic, they are all wonderful. Any Bill Murray movie is good for a laugh. Dave Chapelle is a genius, if you haven't seen his newer standup called, For What It's Worth, stop reading this and go buy it and you will laugh your ass off through the whole thing and then you'll want to watch it again. It's that funny. Some action stuff like Boondock Saints, Snatch, Lock Stock and two Smoking Barrels, And of course the classics like, Mallrats, Dazed and Confused, The Goonies, Rad, stuff like that.
For the most part TV blows... very badly, but It's Always Sunny in Philly saves the day. I like Comedy Central, it has Chapelle's Show, Reno 911, and some random funny movies that are worth while. The History Channel is very interesting at times. You can learn a lot from that channel. The Discovery channel is also fun to watch. I'll always love sports, especially College sports, so we watch a lot of that. The Food Network is cool, I've learned a lot from that channel also, It's like free cooking lessons. I loathe any form of reality TV. A bunch of dumb-asses doing whatever they can to stir up some drama and cause problems, that is the exact opposite of myself so naturally I would hate it. It seems like every channel is poisoned by some stupid reality tv show and it needs to be stopped for the love of Christ.
I mostly read for educational purposes. Lots of travel magazines and books, as well as some environmental stuff. I'm trying to learn how to do my part to save this poor planet that we're destroying.
