Jay-Z, Nas, 2 Pac, Biggie Smalls and Lil Waye all paved the way for this multi-talented 17-year old songwriter/entertainer. Young Sir (real name Taj) was born on June 01, 1990. Young Sir currently lives with his mother in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, where he is a graduating from DuVal High School.It became obvious to his mother that this child had talent when he began rapping since the age of 6 and started writing songs since the 3rd grade. The gift of music remained unnoticed until the age of 13 when Young Sir released his first mixtape called "YOUNG AND IN CHARGE".His first performance was a song off the mixtape called "Changed" which he preformed to a packed crowd in Atlanta,Georgia at a open mic he won 1st place against 11 adult rappers and 3 adult singers. This was his fist performance that became the catalyst for his musical/entertainment career.His natural talent and musical gifts earned him a position a poetry club(2001-2002) in Baltimore,MD. Young Sir even found music in school.He was in the "DuVal Beat Club"(2004-2008) where he performed at his high school's biggest events like fashion shows,pep rallys,honor roll assemblies,back to school night,and other special school events. Young Sir can also be found on songs with local artist that are also well-known and have a passion for music.He has also been on XM radio,local televison stations and several of has had his songs played on 95.5 and 93.9.In the Metropolitan and surrounding areas of the District of Columbia, Young Sir is sought after to perform at talent conferences/competitions, showcases, fashion shows, clubs, charitable and not-for-profit functions, holiday events and other sold-out venues where his voice and music can be heard; one that is unique, energetic and out of the box. It has a way of reaching the young people as well as the older crowd. He speaks about what he feels needs to be heard.As a artist,song writer,ghost-writer,entertainer,freestyler,battler,and a all around good performer of a entertainment company, Young Sir is very focused on his entertainment career and understands that dedication, hard work, preparation, commitment and education, will be the keys to him successfully reaching people across the world. He is always making music or thinking about music.This is what he feels he was put here for.He has traveled extensively on the east, west and mid-west to cities including North Carolina (NC), Chicago (CH), New Jersey(NJ), New York (NY),South Carolina (SC), Atlanta (ATL), Philadelphia (PA), and Los Angeles (LA).
